You can export Dive's entire SOP data to PDF, Excel, Word (.docx), and PowerPoint (.pptx) formats. If you specify a translation language during export, it will export in the translated state.
PDF, Excel, and Word exports are available on the Core, Pro, and Enterprise plans. PowerPoint export is available on the Pro and Enterprise plans.
An overview with explanations on the left and cover image on the right is placed at the top of the first page, followed by a list of steps. Each step is displayed in a 3-column table (Thumbnail, Work procedure, and Important safety information / Notes), with one row per step. The document name, Rev, and page number are displayed at the top of each page in a frame, and the revision history is compiled on the final page.
Since fonts are embedded in the export, they will display with the same appearance even if the device doesn't have fonts for that language. For fixed display when distributing, please use PDF export.
EXCEL
In addition to Dive's standard layout, Excel can also export by transcribing into your company's work standard format (Export format / Enterprise plan). For details, see Export SOPs in your company's format (Export format).
Word (.docx)
It exports in .docx format with the same layout as PDF. Since you can edit directly in Word after export, you can adjust it to match your company's format or paste it into other documents.
Word can also export by transcribing into your company's work standard format (Export format / Enterprise plan).
PowerPoint (.pptx)
It exports with a layout of one slide per step (consisting of cover, revision history, and step slides).
PowerPoint can also export by transcribing into your company's work standard format (Export format / Enterprise plan).
Choose items to export (PDF / Excel / Word)
In the export modal, you can choose which items to include. Select only the necessary items from: Thumbnail / The step heading / Step details / Work tips / Quality Warning / Important safety information / Questions / Audio (subtitles) / Revision history. In Excel, excluded items will be hidden by column; in PDF and Word, they won't appear on the page.
Add jump URLs to each step (common to PDF / Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
When you enable the "Add a jump URL to each step" checkbox in the export modal (enabled by default), a link to directly open that step is embedded in each step's page, row, or slide. When the recipient clicks a step they're interested in, the Dive playback screen plays from that step (if they're logged into Dive and have view permissions). When disabled, it exports as a plain document without links.
When you also enable "Add a QR code to each step," a QR code for the same link is included in each step. Use this when printing on paper and posting at the work site.
Specifications
In each step's content area, if video, PDF, or image is specified as the content, the image specified in Content > Image is used. For videos, a representative image is entered by default.
The initiator and approver in the revision history are displayed with the same display name as shown in the screen's revision history. Users who have already left the team are displayed as "(Disabled users)."
Important notes
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint depend on the fonts available in the viewing environment. If the PC doesn't have fonts for the relevant language, garbled text or layout problems may occur. For fixed display, PDF export is recommended.
