We are pleased to announce a major release of features designed to make Dive easier for every person on the factory floor to use. This update includes a complete redesign of the personal report, card/list view switching in the Procedure list, Favorites, and View history page—substantially improving the experience for frontline team members who open Dive every day. This article highlights the key points of this update.
① Complete Redesign of Personal Report Page
Previously, individual usage history was displayed as a "History log screen" with checkboxes for quiz responses and draft displays, making it impossible for either the user or their manager to intuitively understand "how much are they actually using this?" With this release, we have rebuilt it into a "Usage Report" where both self-monitoring by the individual and monitoring of direct reports by managers can be completed on a single page.
●Structure of the new personal report
- Hero header: Avatar, name, role, and Group Affiliation are displayed prominently. When opened by the user themselves, a "You" tag appears, making it instantly clear that this is their own page.
- Key KPIs: Views / Procedures referenced / Repeat use (Dive's core metric, highlighted in color) / Active days / Issues published (for those creating SOPs) are displayed at a glance on one line.
- Repeatedly viewed procedures ranking: The top 3 SOPs you (or your direct report) have repeatedly referenced are tagged with gold, silver, or orange, making "procedures that are actually working in the field" visible.
- Usage patterns: A calendar heatmap, bar charts by time of day and by day of week, and a daily trend graph are displayed side by side. You can intuitively see "when and how they're using it".
- View history: Raw chronological logs at the end. You can individually check the SOP name, revisions, View start time, and View duration.
With this change, the personal report shifts from being "a screen to confirm quiz responses" to "a development support page where managers can visualize individual effort and discover opportunities to recognize achievements and provide coaching".
② Favorites Feature (Set Support)
Previously, there was no quick way to recall "SOPs I frequently use" or "SOPs I need to reference for today's work," requiring users to dig through folders every time. With this release, we have added the ability to mark SOPs and folders with ★ Favorites, allowing them to be called up together from a dedicated page.
●Favorites basics
- ★ One-click registration with button: From either the Procedure list or Preview screen, simply click the star mark to instantly add to Favorites or remove.
- List from dedicated page: From "Favorites" in the left menu, only registered SOPs and folders are displayed on a single screen.
●Organization with "Favorite sets"
Additionally, we have introduced Favorite sets. This is a feature to further organize your Favorites by purpose.
- For example: Create sets for tasks like "Setup work", "Daily inspections", "Quality check items" as logical groupings of work or operations
- A single SOP can be registered in multiple sets (not an exclusive structure like folders)
- Deleting a set does not affect the Favorites themselves or the SOP body
This allows frontline workers to "open this set today and have all the necessary SOPs right there" when using Dive.
③ New View History Page
For situations like "I want to open that SOP I just looked at again" or "That one I saw last week, which folder was it in?", we have prepared a navigation path to return to recently viewed SOPs without digging through folders. From "View history" in the left menu, you can check the SOPs you recently opened in reverse chronological order.
- Displayed chronologically with newest first. You can trace your usage from the last 1 week to several months
- Like the Procedure list, it supports switching between card and list views
- Click to play or preview as-is
④ Draft Sharing and Comments
Previously, draft SOPs could only be viewed by users in the creator's Approval workflow, but now creators can specify shared recipients (individuals or groups), allowing those people to view them as well. There is also a comment chat section, so feedback on revisions can be left there for communication.
⑤ Other Improvements
- Mobile-specific view improvements: The personal report, Procedure list, Favorites, and View history pages are now provided in mobile-friendly layouts that look great on smartphones and tablets. This eliminates the situation where "you can't see it without opening a PC" on the factory floor.
- Avatar support: Avatar images are now displayed in the personal report, rankings, and Members list. You can instantly understand whose data you're viewing.
- Unified name display: Name formatting has been unified across Dive. The awkwardness of "full name" and "nickname" varying from screen to screen has been resolved.
- Terminology cleanup: Terms that were inconsistent internally, such as "viewing" have been clarified.
- Unified Group notation: "Ancestor path / Name" notation has been unified across all Dive screens. Even as organizations grow deeper, mix-ups with same-named Groups become less likely.
- Brand settings: Team name now appears in the upper left. Owner Functions can also change the icon.
For Existing Users
All of these features are additive releases. There is no impact on existing SOPs, folder structure, or user settings, and you can continue using them as-is from today.
The card/list view switch is saved per device, so if your team prefers different views, each member can use the display they are most comfortable with. Favorites and View history start empty, so there is no problem if you gradually register the SOPs you need.
Making it so every person on the factory floor can "find, open, and record" video SOPs in a way that is easy to use every day. We hope this update becomes a trusted partner for your daily operations.
We look forward to continuing to work with you using Dive ◎
