We have released several updates to the SOP editor. This update adds numerous features to make SOP creation more flexible, including the "conditional branching" feature that changes steps based on question responses, step block splitting, voiceover, bulk text replacement, and more. This article introduces the details of this update.

① Conditional Branching

Previously, SOPs could only be created as a linear sequence, progressing from top to bottom. With this update, you can now set conditional branching that switches to the next step based on the answer to a question.

● Branching methods by question type

Yes/No · Choices: Specify the branch destination as "if this answer, go to this step" for each choice
Multiple selection · Text · Numeric input: Set condition rules such as "contains," "equals," "smaller than," and evaluate them in order to branch to the first matching destination

Branch destinations can be set to "next step," "end SOP," or any step within the SOP. This allows you to create SOPs that match real-world situations, such as "return to the inspection step if defects are found" or "skip steps that do not apply."

● How to edit

From the "Other" menu in the SOP editor, select "Edit branching" to set branches while previewing the overall flow in a flowchart (the editor is PC only).

② Voiceover

In response to requests from many existing customers, we have restored the voiceover feature that was previously implemented. The usability has improved significantly. It now also supports file uploads.

Record on the spot in a browser, or Upload a voice file you have
You can replace audio for each subtitle section
Recorded audio can be auto-transcribed by AI to automatically generate subtitle text

You can use this when you want to add narration later or add the sounds of machines necessary for decision-making after production.

③ Splitting Video SOP Blocks

Previously, an SOP created from a single video was treated as one block. Now, you can split this block into two at any step split point.

After splitting, the second half block has its own independent editing data, allowing each to be edited and reordered separately
Subtitles and comments are automatically distributed to the first and second halves based on the split time

Use this when you want to insert a different video or AR in between.

④ Bulk Replace Text

You can now search and replace text throughout your SOP at once. This makes it easy to standardize terminology or make bulk changes to equipment and part names.

You can specify the range of replacement targets (Title / Detail / Tips / Caution / Safety / Task / Subtitles / Procedure info)
Matching locations are displayed in a preview, and you select each one with a checkbox before applying
It also supports bulk replacement of AI video analysis results (scene descriptions and transcripts) and within the video editor

Select "Bulk replace text" from the "Other" menu in the SOP editor to use it.

⑤ Correct reading and Translation Glossary Template

We have strengthened AI text-to-speech and translation features. We have also improved the engine to prevent pronunciation errors for industrial units.

Correct reading: Open "Correct reading" from the playback screen, select the section where the reading is incorrect, and suggest the correct reading in Furigana (hiragana/katakana)
Translation glossary overhaul: The translation glossary has been redesigned in a spreadsheet-style editor to make it easier to add, edit, and bulk save rows
Industry templates: Translation glossary and Pronunciation Dictionary now include industry-specific templates for manufacturing (metals / plastics / electronics / assembly / materials / general), healthcare, construction, food, logistics, office, and retail

⑥ Two-Factor Authentication (MFA) Mandatory Setting (For Administrators)

As a feature for security operations, you can now make two-factor authentication (MFA) mandatory for all users. Available in the Enterprise plan.
