We've just released AI Search, which helps you find the right SOP or step using natural language whenever you're unsure what to do on the floor. We're also enhancing editing capabilities. This article introduces the latest updates.
①AI Search (Solve problems with natural language when you're unsure)
We've added "AI Search," which lets you type what you want to know in everyday language, and AI finds and shows you the matching SOP or step. This feature embodies "on-site support that resolves confusion on the spot" in action.
- Before: You had to remember the exact keyword and type it—making it hard for new employees who didn't know the terminology or when looking for procedures from other departments
- Now: Just ask in natural language like "I want to know how to tighten the bolt on the new model," and AI guides you across SOPs to the exact matched places
●Main features
- Use it by selecting Search with AI from the search field in the sidebar
- You can dig deeper in conversation format (past conversation history is saved)
- Voice input is also supported. You can ask by voice even on the floor when both hands are busy
- From the "Details" in the results, open the player right away to check the matching step immediately
For how to use it, see How to use AI Search.
②AR settings are now available for video steps
Previously, AR settings were only available for image and PDF steps, but now you can set AR on video steps as well. You can create a more natural composition by showing the video while overlaying AR on the actual object at key points.
- Before: AR settings were only possible for image/PDF steps
-
Now: AR settings are possible for video steps, image steps, and PDF steps
The operation is the same as before—you configure it from the AR (Augmented Reality) section in the main SOP editor
For details, see Where to use AR and how to incorporate it into steps.
③Edit video step text directly in the main editor
You can now edit the text of video steps (title, step text, tips, quality warning, and safety) directly on the main SOP editor screen. Text fixes are complete without reopening the video editor. We've also added a "Close header" feature to make editing easier.
④Term labels are now unified as "Quality Warning"
We've unified items that previously had different labels across screens—such as "Caution," "Additional info," and so on—into "Quality Warning". All screens (editor, export, AI organization, etc.) now use the same terminology.
Only the wording changes—all content you've already entered will continue to work as before.
Other improvements and bug fixes
- Enhanced search within SOPs (now supports AI chat format and improved mobile display)
- Fixed bugs in offline playback
- Other improvements to internal processing stability and fine-tuning
This update is fully backward compatible with existing SOPs and data. AI Search is a powerful ally in resolving on-site confusion on the spot—please give it a try.
