Attach existing manuals (work standards, drawings, checklists, reference materials, etc.) to your SOP as "related files," and use AI to extract "Tasks to do," "Work tips," "Quality warnings," and "Important safety information" and apply them to each step. Use this feature when you want to bring know-how you already have in paper or PDF form into your video SOP.

What are related files?

Files that you can attach and store linked to your SOP. You can classify them by selecting a role.

Attachment only (to keep it out of AI extraction scope)

You can also set each related file to "Hide from viewers" (to manage internal materials only).

How to use

1. Add a related file

Open the Basic information tab in the SOP editing screen and open the "Related files" panel
From "Add related file," upload a document such as a PDF or image
Select the file's Role (Work standard / Drawing / Checklist / Reference / Other / Attachment only)
If you don't want to show it to viewers, turn on "Hide from viewers"

2. Run AI extraction

Set the role of the related file you want to extract to something other than "Attachment only," and click "AI Extract"
AI analyzes the document and extracts content that falls under each category: "Tasks to do," "Work tips," "Quality warnings," and "Important safety information"

When extraction is complete, a confirmation modal opens.

3. Review extraction candidates and apply them to steps

Extraction results are displayed by step. You can also change the assignment target (step) and adjust categories on this screen
Check the items you want to apply ("Use all" and "Deselect all" for batch operations are also available)
When you confirm by clicking "Apply selected items," they will be applied to each step

Tips for getting the best results

PDFs where text can be selected (PDFs containing text information) extract with higher accuracy than PDFs that are just scanned images
When you select the correct "Role" for related files, AI can extract content more easily with proper context
You can review all extraction results before applying them, so you can try with confidence. If any results don't match your intent, deselect them before applying
