Content (Video, Image, PDF) set for each step can be changed to a different type after creation, or replaced with a different file while keeping the same type. This article explains how to change or replace step content.
Description, Question, and AR settings entered in a step can be carried over even when changing content. You can also explicitly overwrite them with the description from the replacement content.
Step content types
Step content can be Video, Image, PDF, or No content. Choose based on the step content: Video to show movement, Image to show key points in one frame, PDF to show materials, or No content.
Change to a different content type
When you select the target step in the SOP editing screen, the "Details" section (a dropdown to select Type) appears at the top of the Preview on the right. For both video and non-video steps, use the same dropdown to Switch types.
- Open the SOP editing screen and Select the step you want to change.
- From the dropdown at the top of the Preview, Select the type you want to change to (Image, PDF, Video, or No content).
Replace with a different file while keeping the same type
You can also replace just the displayed file (video material, image, or PDF file) without changing the type. For both video and non-video steps, use the [Replace] button displayed on the Thumbnail image. Description, Question, and AR settings are maintained.
- Select the step you want to replace and hover your mouse over the Thumbnail image in the Preview.
- Click the [Replace] button displayed below the image.
- From the Materials library, Select the file to replace with.
Confirm operation
After changing or replacing, Play the step and Confirm that the set content displays correctly. Description, Question, and AR settings are maintained as is.
