For "Email-free accounts" (ID login type accounts) that administrators issue to people without an email address, you can block new issuance if your security policy does not permit them.
What is an email-free account?
An account that administrators issue by directly providing an ID and password so that field members without an email address can use Dive. For details, see Add user (Email invitation / Issue email-free account).
Who can configure this
Only users with Owner permissions only.
Configuration steps
- Open "Owner Functions" from the side menu
- Select the "Security" tab at the top and open the "Email-free account" card
- Check "Prohibit the use of email-free accounts"
- Click "Save"
Behavior after prohibition
- You will not be able to issue new email-free accounts (the email-free account issuance option on the user addition screen will be blocked)
- Existing email-free accounts can continue to be used (login and viewing access are maintained)
- If you want to retire existing accounts over time, delete them individually from User management
Tips for effective use
- In Single Sign-On (SSO) focused operations, prohibiting email-free accounts allows you to consolidate account provisioning paths
- Taking inventory of existing email-free accounts before prohibiting them helps prevent unexpected accounts from remaining
- Also consider related settings such as MFA requirement and Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration
