Through our work supporting customer onboarding, we've heard many say "I don't know which SOP to create first" and "We're not capturing everything the field actually needs." From this insight came our new feature: "Desired procedures (Idea notebook)".
Gather what-the-field-needs requests like "We need an SOP for this," then build your roadmap by setting priorities based on that voice. Even when you don't know what to create first, a natural development roadmap emerges from field needs.
Rather than having administrators push ahead unilaterally, the field's voice becomes the actual starting point for development—so it helps drive bottom-up momentum and lets the field feel ownership as they get involved in SOP creation.
All users can access it from the "Desired procedures" button in the sidebar.
You can make the field's "wants" visible
Until now, when the field thought "we'd like an SOP for this," there was nowhere to communicate and collect that feedback. With this new feature, anyone can post desired SOPs and work explanations that would be helpful, and others who want the same thing can show support by clicking the +1 button.
●Key points
- All users, including View-only users and members with Guest permission, can post and "+1"
- Items can be sorted by highest "+1" count, so you can prioritize what the field needs most
- The person who posted and those who "+1"d it are displayed by avatar
You can see development status like "Creating" and "Completed"
Posted requests can be managed with statuses: "Want," "Creating," and "Completed." You can see at a glance who's working on it and which SOP addresses it.
●Key points
- When you set the status to "Creating," the instructor working on it appears in the tag
- When marking as "Completed," you can select and link the actual SOP that was created
- From completed requests, you can open that SOP with one click
When complete, notifications reach those who wanted it
When an SOP is completed in response to a request, automatic notifications are sent to the person who posted the request and everyone who "+1"d it. This conveys "your voice really did become something," keeping field participation going.
●Key points
- In-app, the "Desired procedures" button in the sidebar shows an unread count badge
- You'll also get a notification email with the completed SOP name
This feature is automatically introduced when invited members open the dashboard for the first time. The visibility range follows the same access restriction approach as regular SOPs and groups, distributed based on Group Affiliation.
Existing customers can use it right away with no additional setup required.
