Dive's question (quiz) feature can be used not only for correct/incorrect answers in training, but also as "pass/fail judgment" for inspection checklist operations. Even when there is an abnormality, the SOP keeps going without stopping, and the answer is recorded as "Abnormal". Later, you can check a list of who answered what and when in the SOP's Viewing records under [Work records].
Available plans: The question feature itself is available on the Core plan or higher. To check answers to questions in Work records, the Core plan or higher is required. CSV export of Work records is available on the Pro plan or higher.
"Continue when unexpected": How questions are created
When you select the question type, a "Continue when unexpected" checkbox appears right below it (formerly "Use as pass/fail judgment"; its behavior has not changed). When turned ON, the question judges "Normal/Abnormal" instead of "Correct/Incorrect".
- Even when abnormal, the SOP does not stop and keeps going
- The answer is saved as "Abnormal" and can be checked later in Work records
- Ideal for operations like inspection checklists, where you "honestly report any abnormality you find and move on"
Two question types are supported.
Selection (Yes/No, Single selection, Multiple selection)
- On the question card, set the type to [Yes/No], [Selection], or [Multiple selection]
- [Continue when unexpected] Turn on the checkbox
- A "Normal" column appears in the options table, so check the normal options (at least one is required)
- Choosing any option other than the normal options is recorded as "Abnormal"
Numeric input
- On the question card, set the type to [Numeric input]
- [Continue when unexpected] Turn on the checkbox
- Enter the lower limit to upper limit of the "Normal range"
- Entering a value outside the range is recorded as "Abnormal"
※ When pass/fail judgment is OFF, it works as the "Correct range" as before (quiz behavior that only allows passing when the answer is correct).
Using it with conditional branching
Questions with pass/fail judgment can be combined with conditional branching. In the branching editor for Numeric input, if you set the condition's "Range" to [Match question settings], it automatically links with the normal range on the question side (when you change the question side, the branching side follows). You can also quickly set up a flow like "If normal, go to the next step; if abnormal, go to the SOP for responding to abnormalities".
Check Work records
For each SOP, you can check a record of who viewed it, when, and what they answered under [Work records] in the SOP's Viewing records (Check viewing records by SOP).
Where to open Work records
- Step list: From the SOP's [...] menu, select [Viewing records] and switch to [Work records]
- SOP details: At the top of the screen, from [Viewing records], select [Work records]
- Usage Report: On the [Viewing records] tab, switch the breakdown to [SOP], click the SOP name, then switch to [Work records]
- [Viewing records] tab on the Personal page: Click an SOP name to see the Work records filtered to that person. Click a row in View history to open the details of that session
What you can check in Work records
- Row: One run (who viewed it and when)
- Column: Each question in that version
-
Cell: Answer value + OK/NG chip
- Green (OK): Passed with a normal option or a value within the normal range
- Red (NG): Passed with an abnormal option or a value outside the range (= with abnormalities)
- Check: A confirmation-only question with no pass/fail (no correct/incorrect answer and no range set)
- Value: The measured value when no pass/fail range is set for Numeric input
- AI badge: For photo-submission questions that use AI photo check, the AI's reference findings (AI○/AI!/AI?) appear in the cell (Pro plan or higher). They do not change the judgment of the answer.
- Version dropdown: At first, records from all versions are shown (the [Version] column shows which version each record is from). When you select a specific version, only that version's records are shown
- Status summary: Shows the status and count for each run at the top. The symbol legend also appears above the table
- Clicking a row opens the details drawer for that one run
- Filter by status: All statuses are listed with their counts. Statuses with 0 count cannot be selected
- Total (this period): Below the table, the number of abnormalities for each question (average for Numeric input) is always shown
CSV export (Pro plan or higher)
Use the [Export] button at the top right of the table to export Work records as a CSV file. You can keep them as submissions for inspection checklists, or use them as source data for importing into an external report format.
Who can view Work records
- Owner / Team Administrator: Can view all records in the team for the target SOP
- Group Administrator: Limited to the records of users under the groups you manage (if you do not belong to any group, only your own records)
- Created user / View-only user: From [Viewing records] in SOP details, you can check only your own records
- Guest: Not displayed
Here are some ways to use it
- Pre-shift inspection: Build a group of Yes/No questions with "Continue when unexpected". Even if there is an abnormality, the process keeps going without stopping, and a record remains as an inspection checklist
- Numeric spec check: Set a normal range on questions that ask for a measured value. Outside the range = with abnormalities; within the range = OK, compiled into a list
- Go to another step when abnormal: With pass/fail judgment + conditional branching, when an abnormality is detected, it automatically jumps to the "abnormality response manual"
- Keep as audit records: Export CSV monthly and keep it as a record for internal audits and ISO operations

Run statuses
Each run is divided into the statuses below, depending on how far the questions were answered. You can also check what the symbols mean from the legend above the table, or by hovering over a cell.
- Completed (✓ green): Went through to the end and answered all questions
- Completed (with stumbles) (△): Answered, but some questions were answered incorrectly
- Completed (with abnormalities) (✕): Answered, but some questions were recorded as "Abnormal"
- Completed (partially answered) (✓ gray): Went through to the end, but some questions were not answered
- Completed (no answers) (⊘): Went through to the end, but no questions were answered
- Incomplete (⊘): Did not go through to the end
- Reference (no questions) (◌): A run in which questions were skipped while reading in Reference mode. These are not counted in inspection totals or in training course completion
"Completed (partially answered)" and "Completed (no answers)" mean that the completion report itself has been submitted. They are not treated the same as "Completed," where every question is answered; they are distinguished as separate statuses. Because an inspection checklist can also be run by answering only some of the questions and finishing, you can submit the completion report even if some questions are unanswered (unanswered questions are listed, and clicking one moves you to that step).
About the "Unanswered" display
If no answer is recorded in a question cell, "Unanswered" is displayed for all of them. From the records alone, it is not possible to tell apart a case where the step was never reached from a case where it was reached but no answer was given. Also, because there is a way to answer only the questions from the table of contents, we do not distinguish by whether the step was reached.
