We have reviewed checklist viewing records and video editor editing operations. We also notify you when AI analysis results may not match the actual work before creating the SOP.
①You can now see which questions were not answered in checklists
Previously, completions with no answers to any questions were displayed in green as "Completed" just like completions where all questions were answered. When using a checklist, you could not tell if the check was actually performed just by looking at the record.
●We made completion status more detailed
- Completed (partially answered): Viewed to the end but did not answer some questions
- Completed (no answers): Viewed to the end but did not answer any questions
We added a legend symbol at the top of the table and made the meaning display when hovering over cells.
●We unified "Not reached" and "Unanswered" to "Unanswered"
Previously, we distinguished between "Not reached" (did not progress to that step) and "Unanswered" (progressed but did not answer). However, we cannot actually determine whether it was reached from the record, and since there is also a way to answer only questions from the table of contents, we have eliminated the distinction and unified it to "Unanswered".
●We redesigned the status filter
We now display all statuses with counts and prevent selection of statuses with 0 items. Along with this, "Show completed only" has been discontinued (the same thing can be done with the status filter, as leaving the setting on the device makes it impossible to track why the count does not match).
●Bug fixes
When opening viewing records on a smartphone, unanswered completions also showed green "Completed". We have now aligned it with the PC determination.
②We improved video editor editing operations
●Snapped positions are indicated by guide lines and names
When dragging shapes or captions, they snap to step splits, cuts, captions, and other shapes. Since it was previously difficult to see that snapping had occurred, we now display where it snapped using guide lines and names.
●We unified copy/paste to Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V
Copy and paste, which previously only worked for shapes, now work on all tracks in the timeline, and the operation is unified to Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V. After copying, move the playback position and paste. Long blocks are pasted with the end trimmed to fit before the next block.
●You can now overlay a PDF page on video
Previously, PDFs could only be imported as a separate SOP from video. Select a PDF material from image insertion, specify the page with "Select pages to overlay", and that page can now be overlaid on the video. After overlaying, you can move, zoom, and crop just like a normal image shape.
●TIFF images can now be imported
TIFF (.tif / .tiff) cannot be displayed in browsers, so it could not be imported as an image and could only be attached as "Other" file. We now convert to PNG at import time, so you can use it in steps just like a normal image.
This applies to TIFF with LZW and CCITT G4 compression commonly found in scanner output. JPEG-compressed TIFF is not supported (colors cannot be correctly restored, so we display a message instead of converting). In that case, please convert to PNG or JPEG on your end before importing.
●Caption preview now sounds the same as playback
We aligned the caption preview in the edit screen with the actual playback mechanism. It reads through even when crossing frozen shapes, and fast speech that has been compressed also reverts the same way as during playback. The sound you hear in preview is the same sound that plays in the field.
③We notify you when AI analysis splits are mechanical
AI video analysis splits steps using work breaks as a guide. However, with videos without narration (analyzed only by video), no guides are available, so it sometimes divides mechanically based on time. For example, a 40-minute video might be split into all exactly 30 seconds or 25 seconds. If you turn this into an SOP as-is, the split positions will not match the actual work.
Starting now, when the analysis result is in this state, we notify you just before creating the SOP.
- We do not stop creation. If the work progresses in a regular rhythm, equal division may match reality, so you can also choose "Create as is"
- Pressing "Re-analyze" opens the Analysis options, and the item "Videos without narration (analyzed only by video)" is displayed in a visible position. Please determine for yourself whether to specify it
- Re-analysis performed from this notification is not added to the AI processing execution count
④We added instructions on how to fix when the screen is narrow on PC
"Mobile cannot edit" and "This screen is PC only" messages are determined by screen width. Therefore, even when using a PC, the same message appears when the window is narrow, browser zoom is high, or Windows scaling settings are large. Most inquiries about "I could not edit even though I was working on a PC" fall into this category.
We added the order to check window maximization, browser zoom rate, and display scaling settings to the message. We have not changed the determination itself.
⑤Other brush-ups and bug fixes
- We fixed an issue where questions scored using the Correct range (numeric lower and upper limits) were displayed as "Not evaluated" in the solo completion check and were not reflected in the completion rate and solo completion rate
- We fixed an issue where when creating an SOP from multiple videos, the Step conversion settings became uniformly "No data", resulting in SOPs with no captions or questions
- We fixed an issue where selected materials sometimes disappeared when changing filters or search terms on the material page
- We fixed an issue where the Display language selection in the user menu became crowded for languages with long names
- We fixed an issue where the Training courses completion time was replaced by the date and time when opened later in Reference mode
- We fixed an issue where the viewing records start process was not recorded, creating incomplete records
- Completion report can now proceed even if there are unanswered questions (this is for checklist usage where only part is answered). Unanswered questions are displayed in a list, and pressing one moves to that step
- We fixed an issue where the "Reference mode" switch on the playback screen was visible in MP4 exports
We appreciate your continued use of Dive.
