Overview
Some videos captured on recent iPhone models did not finish converting after upload. They showed "Processing failed," and pressing the reprocess button gave the same result.
Date/time and status
This occurred when videos recorded with spatial audio on recent iPhone models were uploaded. The fix was completed on October 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.
Impact range
This affected the following cases.
- Uploads of some videos recorded with spatial audio on recent iPhone models
※ The uploaded video files remain as-is, so they can be converted by reprocessing.
※ Videos that have finished converting and SOPs that were already created are not affected.
Cause
For some videos recorded with spatial audio on iPhone, Dive's conversion process could not read the audio, so the conversion failed.
Fix details
Videos recorded with spatial audio are now also converted using stereo audio. When you press the reprocess button, conversion completes as usual, and the video becomes ready to use in SOPs.
We also made the following improvement.
- Even when conversion takes a long time for videos imported from OneDrive or Google Drive, they now proceed to completion without showing "Processing failed" partway through
What we ask of you
- If a video shows "Processing failed" under [Materials] in the side menu, press the reprocess button (the circular update icon). Depending on the length of the video, it will finish in a few minutes. You do not need to upload the video again
- Videos for which you selected AI processing when uploading will have AI processing run right after conversion
- If you have uploaded the same video again, it is fine to delete the failed one
- Videos you have already deleted will be converted if you upload them again
- If the video still shows "Processing failed" after reprocessing, please contact us
