Overview
In Work Analysis (TimeStudy) projects, after performing any of the following operations, edited content (element classification, cuts, reordering, correction speed, etc.) would disappear and revert to the AI initial draft.
- After editing, returned to the project list using "Back to list", then reopened the project later
- Navigated to a different page immediately after opening the project, or closed the browser

Cause
The Work Analysis project autosave control had two issues:
- Autosave was firing before initial load completed: Immediately after opening a project, autosave would run before the edited data had finished restoring, causing an empty state to be saved. When reopened, that "empty state" became the base, making the content appear to revert to the AI draft.
- Pending saves were not confirmed when using "Back to list": Since previous edits are saved with debounce (waiting a few seconds before writing), pressing "Back to list" during this wait time could cause the latest edits to not be written before leaving the screen.
Fix Details
- When opening an existing project, autosave is now always skipped until the initial load completes and state is restored. An empty state will no longer be saved.
- When "Back to list" is pressed, pending saves are now immediately flushed and the screen waits for the write to complete before closing. During the flush, the button changes to display "Saving…" and is disabled (also preventing accidental double-press exits).
Impact Range
If Work Analysis projects edited before July 8, 2026 at 6:30 PM lost edits at either of the above timings, those edits may not be retained in the Dive database up to that point.
Request to Users
- If you open a project where edits appear to be lost: The current state is the latest saved state in Dive. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please redo your recent edits.
- After this fix is released, edited content will be reliably saved even when using "Back to list" or navigating to other pages. Please use Dive with confidence.
