By default, each step's video repeats (In-step Repeat), and you do not move on to the next step unless you press [Next] or take a similar action. If you want to move on to the next step automatically, turn off In-step Repeat.
- Click [In-step Repeat] (the repeat arrow icon) below the Text pane.
- A diagonal line appears across the icon, and "In-step Repeat: Off (moves to the next step when the video and narration finish)" is displayed. Press it again to turn it back On.
The former [Auto transition] switch has been replaced by the [In-step Repeat] button. [Auto transition] being On corresponds to [In-step Repeat] being Off (the on and off settings are reversed).
Conditions for moving to the next step (when In-step Repeat is Off)
● For video content
- The video has looped at least once.
- The narration has finished.
● For content other than video (such as images)
- At least 3 seconds have passed since the step was opened.
- The narration has finished.
Note that if questions are set for the step, a question check appears automatically. As with a manual transition, you cannot move on until you complete the answer.
If you want to play the entire procedure continuously, like a video
You can also use Continuous play, which plays from Step 1 through the last step as one continuous video. Press [Continuous play] below the Text pane, and playback continues across steps. You can jump to any point on the seek bar for the entire procedure. Questions are skipped. For details, see Play a SOP continuously like a video (Continuous play).
If you want to play a continuous video within a single step
See the guide below. You can do this by combining everything into one video at the editing stage.
How to create one cut-edited video without splitting it into steps
Share a URL that opens with automatic advance to the next step
When you share a SOP, you can create a URL that has In-step Repeat turned off as soon as it is opened (so it moves on to the next step automatically). Open [Opening options] in the share dialog, turn [Open with auto transition enabled] On, and then use Copy URL or Print QR codes. The person who receives the link does not need to do the steps above. Playback starts with automatic advance to the next step already turned on.
This setting applies only when that URL is opened. After opening it, the viewer can switch In-step Repeat on or off, and the setting saved on the viewer's device is not changed. The same setting can also be used with External Sharing URLs (URLs that do not require login). For details, see Print QR codes or copy a shared URL.
