Dive automatically records key operations within your team as an Audit log. For internal audits, compliance, and security investigations, you can download everything in CSV format.
Main operations recorded
- Log in activity (successful, failed, MFA, SSO)
- Add user, Delete user, Change permissions
- Changes to Security Settings (IP restrictions, SSO, MFA required, Password policy, External Sharing disabled, and others)
- Role threshold changes per feature
- SOP Export, Materials Download (when allowed roles change)
- Issue, Disable, Restore, and change expiry of External Sharing URLs
- Other key management operations
Who can set this up
Only users with Owner permission.
Steps to export CSV
- Open "Owner Functions" from the side menu
- Select the "Security" tab at the top, scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Logs" section, and open the Audit log card
- Click "Download CSV"
- The audit log is saved in CSV format to your browser's download folder
Tips
- Periodic inventory checks (quarterly or monthly) — export as CSV and keep as a record for your internal security operations
- When investigating a security incident, pull the target period as CSV, then filter by user, operation, and timestamp in Excel to make tracking easier
- Role threshold changes per feature and External Sharing operations are especially likely to be audit targets — it's safer to keep records alongside your Change history
