We have released four major new features to significantly enhance Dive's Training and Development capabilities. We now provide comprehensive coverage from distribution and enrollment management of "required procedures," all the way to a unified entry point for tracking individual growth.
We are also releasing additional features to strengthen content organization and aggregation of field needs. For details, see New Feature Release B: Content Organization and Field Demand Aggregation (Creation Plan / Tags / Desired Procedures Thread / Bulk Import of Excel and CSV for Dictionaries).
① Training (Courses) feature launched
We have released a Training feature that bundles multiple SOPs into a single Course, distributes it to target users, and enables centralized management of progress status. You can use this for onboarding, annual training, new product launches, and any scenario where you want "everyone to view this to the end and demonstrate understanding."
Available Plans: Core or above (Core / Pro / Enterprise)
●Key Features
- Bundle SOPs into a Course: Add from a Folder or via AI Search. Course name and description can be auto-generated by AI
- Strict completion verification / Sequential access: Set completion criteria not just on "opened" but on "solo completion"
- Assessment test: Generate questions manually or by AI. Pass threshold is defined by correct answer percentage (default 80%)
- Assign to groups or individuals with a due date: For groups, toggle between "including all subordinates" or "direct only"
- Progress grid: Visualize the matrix of target users × Course SOPs in 4 colors (completed / incorrect answer / incomplete / unread)
- By Course / By Person or Group – two views to identify bottlenecks from both perspectives
For more details, see How to create courses, assign them, and view progress (Training feature).
② Personal page (Training / Development / Usage – 3-tab integrated view)
We have created a new Personal page where you can view a single user across [Training] (Course enrollment) / [Development] (capacity, Skill Map) / [Usage] (viewing and usage patterns) in three tabs. Previously scattered information is now consolidated at the URL /dashboard/person/{uid}.
●Key Features
- 3-tab integration: Training (Course progress) / Development (capacity, records, plans) / Usage (viewing and usage patterns) – switch between tabs on one screen
- Sub-toggle on Development tab: Switch between your own capacity and a list of mentees you are developing
- Entry points: User avatar at top right – Open personal page (Development, Training, Usage); User details drawer – Open related page (Skill / enrollment status / Usage Report / mentees)
-
Deep links: Use
?tab=course|skill|mentees|usageto navigate directly to your intended tab -
Backward compatibility: Old URLs
/dashboard/skill/{uid}and/dashboard/usage/{uid}automatically redirect
●Access Rights
- Owner / Team Administrator: Personal pages of all users
- Group Administrator: Users belonging to managed groups (direct and subordinate)
- Created user / View-only user / Guest: Yourself, or learners you are developing
- Usage tab and mentees sub-view are visible only to Owner / Team Administrator / Group Administrator / the user themselves
For more details, see Personal page (view one user's Training, Development, and Usage in 3 integrated tabs).
③ Due date reminder (automatic email)
Users now receive automatic email notifications when due dates are approaching or have passed. No additional setup is required – just set a due date and the system automatically sends reminders.
- Scope: Training (Courses) enrollment (with due date and incomplete only), Creation Plan scheduled SOPs (with assignee and due date)
- Stages: 3 days before / 1 day before / Overdue (one time only when overdue)
- Sent daily at 08:00 (JST)
- When the due date changes, reminders are resent based on the new date. Users who have completed all SOPs in a Course are automatically excluded
- Guests and Disabled users are not eligible for delivery
④ Pass/Fail assessment and Viewing records (checklist and verification form operations)
A new [Use for Pass/Fail Assessment] checkbox has been added to questions. When enabled, instead of "correct / incorrect," the question determines Normal / Abnormal, and even if abnormal is detected, the SOP does not stop and users can proceed. Responses are recorded as "abnormal." This is ideal for pre-operation inspections and checklist operations.
- Multiple choice (Yes / No, single choice, Multiple selection): Designate one or more "Normal" options
- Numeric input: Specify the lower and upper limits of the normal range. Can be linked to condition branch ranges
- Viewing records modal: View a row-by-column list of "who answered what and when," with cells showing OK/NG chips. Open via the Viewing records button at the top of the SOP editor
- CSV export (Pro+): Export viewing records as a CSV deliverable
For more details, see Pass/Fail assessment questions and Viewing records (checklist and verification form operations).
Positioning of "Training (Courses)" and "Development (Skill Map)"
With this release, we have organized Dive's Training and Development management into two-layer role separation.
- Training (Courses): A mechanism for bundling and distributing a set of "required SOPs." The goal is for users to view and complete the SOPs (= consume the content)
- Development (Skill Map): A mechanism to evaluate, plan, and record "a person's capacity." Track individual growth over the long term
The basic pattern is to deliver content through Training (Courses) and make people's status visible through Development (Skill Map). The Personal page adds Usage (viewing and usage patterns) to these two layers, serving as an integrated entry point for viewing one person's status at a glance.
We look forward to your continued use of Dive.
