This release introduces new features and improvements centered on AI Check (double-check for submitted photos, beta version) in inspection and verification questions. When a worker submits a photo, AI reviews it again to help identify differences from model photos and potential issues. We also added 3D editing (beta version) to place AR content without holding the actual device, along with step merging, text hiding, and other feature additions and refinements.
1. Added AI Check (double-check of submitted photos, beta version)
In questions where photo submission is required, we added a "double-check" feature that allows AI to review photos submitted by workers again. This feature adds a second AI-powered check to human verification.
This feature is provided as a beta version. Specifications and accuracy will be improved in the future. If you notice any successful examples or cases where the judgment did not work as intended, please send your feedback to customer-success@episotech.com (Dive Customer Success).
●Two ways to verify
- Compare with model image: If you register a "Model" image in the question, AI compares the submitted photo and model
- Verify using question and SOP content: If there is no model image, AI checks the photo based on the question text and SOP description
●How results appear
- Match confirmed / No issues found (Reference opinion; final decision is yours)
- May differ from model / Needs re-check (Please check again)
- Cannot determine from photo (Retake the photo so the subject is clearly visible, then compare)
Results are merely reference opinions. They are not substitutes for final decisions such as "Passed" or "Compliant" and should be used as a supplement with verification by the worker or administrator.
●Settings (for SOP creators)
In questions where photo submission is required, enable AI check and, if needed, register a model image. The model image appears directly below the question text, and in pass/fail inspection questions, a "Normal" reference standard is now also shown to workers. For detailed settings and usage, see How to use AI Check (double-check of submitted photos, beta version).
●Notes
- Available to Pro and Enterprise plan customers
- Works only in questions where photo submission is required (you can check after the photo has been submitted)
- AI Check is not available when offline (it becomes available when you go back online)
- It does not appear in questions where it is not configured. The behavior of existing questions does not change

2. You can now edit AR content without the actual device and view in 3D on incompatible devices (3D editing, beta version)
Previously, placing AR content (arrows, text, images, audio, 3D models, etc.) was primarily done through Edit AR on the smartphone app by holding the actual device. Now we have added 3D editing (beta), which allows you to place and edit AR content in 3D space using only a browser on your PC or smartphone without holding the actual device. You can now proceed with placement work from your desk even if you don't have the device on hand.
We also added View in 3D to the viewing screen. Even on devices that do not support AR (holding up the actual device), users can view AR content in 3D view and rotate and zoom in to check it.
- When you turn Use On in the AR Settings for the target SOP, the 3D editing (beta) button appears next to Edit AR
- Creating and editing AR and 3D content (Edit AR/3D editing) is available to Pro and Enterprise plan users
- View in 3D (viewing) is available to anyone who can view the SOP
3D editing is provided as a beta version. For detailed usage, see 3D editing (place AR content in 3D space). For how to use AR, also see How to use AR and how to incorporate it into SOPs.

3. You can now show SOPs with audio and images only (Hide text)
We added a setting for each SOP to not display the explanation text for each step on screen during playback. You can use this when you want to present only images or slides and read-aloud audio, like a video.
- To configure, turn on Do not display text on screen in Playback & display settings on the SOP editing screen (this is a setting for SOP creators)
- When you view an SOP with this setting on, the explanation text will not be displayed and will instead be read aloud by audio (it displays "This procedure is set to hide text")
- Viewers can temporarily show the text using the Show text toggle on the playback screen
- The explanation text itself does not disappear (it is just hidden). If you turn the setting back off, it will be displayed again as before
For detailed usage, see Hide text (explanation) during playback.

4. We now carry over explanation text when merging steps
When merging adjacent steps, the explanation text of the later step is now automatically carried over (transcribed) to the first step. The explanation is not lost due to the merge and can be read as a single step as-is.
- When you unlink a merge, the carried-over text returns to the original step (it does not remain duplicated)
- If the text was manually edited after being carried over, it will not be overwritten (this is safe behavior)
5. Other refinements and bug fixes
●AR and 3D content saving
- Fixed a bug where images, audio, and 3D models placed in AR/3D content were not displayed (could not load) after saving
- Fixed a bug where placed content (3D data) would disappear when editing and saving previously created AR/3D content
- Also fixed other bugs related to media saving for AR and 3D content
●Other
- Changed the name of "voice-over" to "Audio" (the feature is the same; only the display name has changed)
- Fixed a bug where approval workflow targets could not be approved even when the SOP was shared (in draft sharing state)
- Fixed a bug where pressing Enter in a text field would lose focus and prevent line breaks in some cases
- Fixed a bug where a folder could be mistakenly specified at the top level (directly under Root)
If you have not changed the settings, the behavior of previous SOPs and analysis results does not change. AI Check is displayed only when enabled for the relevant question. "Voice-over" will have its display name changed to "Audio", but the feature remains the same.
