We've released two new features related to questions. You can now filter which steps receive questions based on cue words that workers speak during capture.
① Question Keyword Filter
Our AI actively generates questions whenever it detects a confirmable scenario. Until now, you had only two choices: include all generated questions or remove them all at once. For long videos covering a single task, hundreds of questions could be generated, and we heard requests to narrow them down to key steps only.
With this release, we've added "Keep questions only for steps where a keyword was spoken" to Step conversion settings. Questions will appear only on steps where specified words are spoken, and questions on all other steps will be removed.
● Specifying target keywords
- Choose from pre-prepared words such as "Caution," "Point," "Important," etc.
- Add words on the spot
- Uncheck words you don't want to exclude them from the target (they won't disappear from the list)
- For each word, the display shows how many steps in this video it was spoken in
● Confirm settings results before execution
Previously, you couldn't see the results of your settings until the SOP was created. Now, on the Target keyword settings screen, you can immediately see what will happen with your settings.
- Total number of questions and how many will remain
- Switch between "Remain" and "Remove" to see the list of matching steps
- When remaining, the spoken utterance that serves as the basis (matched location highlighted in color)
- When removed, what was actually spoken in that step
● We suggest words actually used in your video
Even if your team decides on specific cue words, workers may use different phrasing during actual capture. For example, if you've decided on "Caution," a worker might say "Be careful" instead.
To address this, we automatically detect words used across multiple steps in your video and display them as candidates. Since you can choose from words actually spoken, you avoid situations where your specified words don't match anything.
● Usage conditions
- Questions are available on Core, Pro, and Enterprise plans
- Matching uses subtitles created from your video's audio. You cannot use this feature with videos that have no audio
For detailed instructions, see Keep questions only for steps where a keyword was spoken (Question filtering).
② Team-Level Question Keyword Registration
You can now register your team's decided cue words in the Dictionary. We've added "Question keywords" to the Templates tab in Dictionary.
Registered words will appear as "Templates" in Target keyword settings each time you create an SOP. As you discover the actual phrasing used in your workplace and add it over time, your entire team can standardize on the same cue words.
● Usage conditions
- Only users with Team Administrator or higher permission can register keywords
- Templates are available on Pro and Enterprise plans
- Whether to use them can be switched per user, and that choice does not affect the registered content
Impact on Existing Usage
Keyword-based filtering is OFF by default. Unless you change settings, all generated questions will be included as before. Existing SOPs you've already created are not affected.
