We have improved Skill Map definition editing and Security Settings. We have also fixed bugs reported by customers.
① Skill Map definition editing redesigned
We rebuilt the screen for editing the skill hierarchy (Category, Subcategory, Skill) as a dedicated page. Previously, you had to open nested cards within a small dialog to edit, and the editing method was completely different from the view-only Skill Map screen.
● Aligned with the view screen in a "one line, one item" format
The interface uses a two-pane layout with the hierarchy list on the left and the item details (inspector) on the right. We unified the workflow to two simple steps: select then edit.
- Reordering and moving hierarchy levels can now be done by drag-and-drop all at once; we removed the dedicated modal
- Edit names by double-clicking, pressing F2, or using the menu to edit in-place
- Add new items using the row at the end of each hierarchy level; you can enter the name immediately after adding
- Added search, expand all / collapse all, and name validation before saving
- Edits in progress are automatically backed up; you can restore them if you accidentally close. Supports saving with Ctrl+S and undoing the previous action
The skill catalog (Enterprise) editing screen now uses the same editor.
● Evaluation records are now preserved even after deletion
Previously, deleting a category or subcategory would delete all skills below it, and evaluation records assigned to members would lose their reference. Now, we preserve deletion records showing which hierarchy the skill belonged to at the time. If you recreate the same skill, it will be created with its parent hierarchy rebuilt.
● Moved "Member Order & display" setting location
The settings for member order and visibility are display settings, so we consolidated them into the Skill Map view screen instead of the definition editing screen.
② Added two-factor authentication exception to IP address restriction (Enterprise)
We added a setting that allows access from outside permitted networks if two-factor authentication has been passed. You can use this as an exception for users who work outside the company network, such as during business trips or remote work.
- The default is Off. Only the owner can change it
- It only applies when IP address restriction is turned On
- The target is "Only the specified users" by default. If you specify no users, no one gets an exception
We also fixed the guidance message displayed when access is denied to show correctly in display languages other than Japanese.
③ Other improvements and bug fixes
-
Fixed a bug where spoken content in video AI analysis was not being reflected in steps. Numbers, pass/fail criteria, and conditional judgments spoken in videos were remaining in the transcript (captions) but not being included in the step text or notes. Now, spoken values go into the step text, pass/fail criteria and conditions go into notes, and tips go into the tips section.
This fix is included in the regular video AI analysis, so there are no new settings. If you selected "Videos without narration (analyzed only by video)" in the AI analysis options, or if the video has no speech at all, the previous behavior is maintained. When dividing according to a reference SOP, the step text remains as per the reference SOP, and spoken content goes into tips, notes, and important safety information. - Fixed a bug where videos failed to load for SOPs with many steps. The system was pre-loading all narration audio for all steps and all languages, causing video delivery delays. Now, only the current step, the next few steps, and the language being played are loaded in order
- Fixed a bug where the screen showed an error when playing to the end in the video editor
- Fixed a bug where video AI analysis output was larger than expected, causing analysis to fail
Impact on existing customers
There are no settings changes required. Your skill definitions and evaluation records from ① are carried forward unchanged. The video AI analysis fixes in ③ take effect for videos newly analyzed after this release. Already-created SOPs are not affected.
