This is a streamlined screen that shows only the materials upload function, without the procedures list or editing options. Use it when you want to upload videos or photos taken on site directly to Dive. If you add it to your smartphone home screen, you can record and upload immediately.
Only users with permission to upload materials can access this screen (Owner, Team Administrator, Group Administrator, Created user). View-only users and guests cannot open this screen.
Not shown in the sidebar
This screen is a dedicated page that only those who know the URL can open. There is no entry point in the sidebar or menu, so you share the URL with users who need access.
Get the screen URL
- Log in to Dive and click your user icon in the top right corner
- Click Integration & Sharing and then Copy the URL of the upload screen
- Share the copied URL with users via email, chat, or other methods
Recipients can open the URL in their smartphone browser and add it to their home screen for one-tap access next time. Log in using the same Dive account as usual.
Upload materials
- Click Upload a video or Upload a photo, then either take a photo with your device camera or select a saved file
- For videos, the AI processing settings screen appears next. Enter a video description and select processing options as needed. You can also upload without AI analysis
- Upload begins. The upload will continue even if you switch screens
To upload PDFs or Excel files, use Other files. These files are stored only; they are not processed into procedures by AI.
Choose who can see it
Before uploading, you can select one of three options from Who can see it. These are the same choices as the regular upload screen. Your selection is saved on your device and becomes the default next time.
- Only me: Only you can see the materials in the materials list
- Group Shared: Your group and all groups below it can see the materials
- Team sharing: Everyone on the team can see the materials
If your team has not created any groups, the "Group Shared" option is not available. If you are not a member of any group, selecting "Group Shared" will make the materials invisible to everyone, and a warning message will appear.
Uploaded materials can be viewed in the regular Dive screen from the sidebar Materials List.
Combine with IP address restriction
If you have IP address restriction set to Material upload only for "Access from outside the allowed networks," users who log in from outside the allowed network will automatically be taken to this screen. Procedures, materials list, and admin screens are not displayed.
In this state, the screen shows "Only material upload is available" at the top, and there is no link to open the materials list. Users should verify uploaded materials from the allowed network. For setup instructions, see IP address restriction (Enterprise plan).
Frequently asked questions
Can I check uploaded materials on this screen?
This screen does not have a materials list. Open Materials List from the regular Dive screen to check. If you have IP address restriction set to "Material upload only," connect to the allowed network first.
Is it okay to perform other operations while uploading?
Upload continues even if you switch screens. Progress is shown in the tray at the bottom of the screen. If the connection is lost, try again.
The message says "Cannot execute because the daily upload limit has been reached."
You have reached the daily upload limit for your plan. Try again tomorrow or consider changing your plan.
Can I create an account that uses only this screen?
There is no dedicated account type. Any account with permission to upload materials can open this screen. If you want to restrict viewing access, combine this with IP address restriction.
