※ For each file, the playback time must be within 1 hour.
※ Extremely large files may not be uploadable (there is no problem with regular videos within 1 hour).
※ When you create one SOP in Dive, you can combine multiple files.
※ A wide range of video file formats is supported, such as mp4, .mov, .avi, and .mts.
※ A 360° video shot with a 360° camera (360° video MP4) is imported as a 360° video you can look around, for teams on Pro plan or higher. Teams on plans below Pro cannot upload it. For details, see Create SOPs from 360° camera videos and photos (Look around / View in VR).
Uploaded videos are optimized in Dive. For the image quality and other details when using the video, see here.
Supported image file formats
The image formats that can be imported are JPEG (.jpg / .jpeg), PNG, GIF, BMP, SVG, WebP, and TIFF (.tif / .tiff).
GIFs keep their animation, SVGs stay sharp when enlarged, and WebP keeps transparent areas transparent (for files uploaded on or after September 27, 2026). GIFs uploaded before that date show only the first frame as a still image, so if you want to use them as animations, please upload them again.
TIFF is a format that browsers cannot display as-is, so it is converted to PNG when imported. After conversion, it can be used like regular images for all of the following: SOP steps, overlaid shapes, and export.
However, TIFFs with JPEG compression are not supported. Most TIFFs output by scanners are compressed with LZW or CCITT G4, and those can be imported as-is.
For JPEG-compressed TIFFs or other TIFFs that cannot be read, you will see the message "This TIFF image could not be read. Please convert it to PNG or JPEG and try again." In that case, convert the file to PNG or JPEG on your own device, then import it.
Other formats (such as HEIC) can be stored as [Other] files. In this case, they are not shown as images on the screen.
A 360° photo taken with a 360° camera (JPEG, PNG, or WebP files that contain 360° information) is imported as a 360° photo you can look around, for teams on Pro plan or higher. Teams on plans below Pro cannot upload them. For details, see Create SOPs from 360° camera videos and photos (Look around / View in VR).
