Comparison with Dive's VPS Technology
Dive's AR SOPs also use VPS technology, but there are the following differences when compared with their technology.
| Dive | Immersal | ||
| Supported devices | Smartphones only | Smartphones and AR glasses | |
| Accuracy | Alignment accuracy | High | Medium to high |
| Floating | Minimal | Some | |
| Creation and editing | Mapping difficulty | Low |
Medium to high (Requires a certain level of skill. The vendor providestips) |
| Editing created maps | Not possible | Different maps can be merged in the service | |
| Mapping range |
Mappable range (Trigger point) |
Within 5 meter radius | 50 cm radius or higher |
|
AR content support for wide spaces |
Areas outside the trigger point depend on the smartphone's internal sensors (if the camera is blocked, you must return to the trigger point) | The entire space can be a trigger point | |
| Example target spaces for AR content |
• A single room • Fixed equipment (facilities) • Objects the size of a vehicle |
In addition to Dive's examples: • Equipment that moves • Wide spaces such as 50 square meters or larger • Multiple rooms |
