You can insert AR content playback functionality into each step of a SOP. For supported AR technologies (Alignment methods), please see Here. When "Use AR" is configured, a "View in AR" button is added during viewing. Tapping the button switches to AR mode, and users can confirm work content using AR information.
Before You Start
- Scan data for Alignment can only be created in the smartphone app. AR object placement can be done in the smartphone app's "Edit AR" or in "3D Edit" (beta version) available in PC and smartphone browsers.
- "View in AR" to overlay AR content on the actual object is available on smartphone apps and AR glasses. On devices that don't support AR, you can confirm the same AR content in the 3D screen from "View in 3D".

You can configure it on any step type: video steps, image steps, or PDF steps.
On PC (browser), you can also use "3D Edit" to place AR content in 3D space without holding your smartphone (beta version). For details, see 3D Edit on PC (Place AR content in 3D space).
Configuration Flow
- Turn on "Use AR"
- Create Scan data
- Edit AR
Below, we explain based on the smartphone app screen.
Turn On "Use AR"

Tap the step where you want to use AR

Tap "Use AR"

It is now enabled. At this point, there are no AR Objects defined, so the "Use AR" button will not be displayed during viewing.
Create Scan Data

Tap "Configure" under "Alignment"

Tap "Add new"

AR mode starts. On the first run, you will see a camera permission request. Please allow it.

From this point on, follow the messages that appear at the bottom of the screen to scan.

When successful, AR mode ends and the created scan data is displayed as Materials. Tap "Decide" to select it.

You can confirm that the scan data configured in "Alignment" is now set. The created scan data can be reused in other steps or other SOPs.
Edit AR

Tap "Edit AR"

AR mode starts and Alignment begins. Follow the instructions and point your camera at the location of the scan data.

When recognition succeeds, edit mode starts.

We'll show an example of operating an Arrow object. Tap the "Arrow" button.

The arrow object appears. You can move it in the AR screen, and it will move three-dimensionally based on planes and other features in the real world.
*You can also switch tabs to rotate or scale. -
Tapping where there is no object changes the screen to allow adding a new object. When editing is complete, tap "Save" and then tap "Save and close"

You can confirm that the number has changed under "AR Objects" and the objects are saved.
Additional Notes
- If there is no Alignment configuration, plane detection mode is used.
- Each step can have different Alignment information. When transitioning to a step with different Alignment information, Alignment will be performed each time. If it's the same Alignment information, Alignment is not performed again.
Tips to Minimize Position Misalignment
- Place objects at locations that are on the scan target area.
- When placing objects in different locations within one SOP, it is recommended to prepare separate scan data for each step.
- Due to the nature of the technology, some position misalignment is unavoidable. For this reason, it is not recommended to use AR for mission-critical tasks. (Limit AR to human movement and visual line changes, and express actual work content using video steps, etc.)
