※ This article reflects the content at the time of the 2025-11-13 release. Currently, we no longer use the term "permission frame," and the feature is now called "Guest Invitation," with the count method changed to "Number of accounts" (the method itself and the number of people you can use remains the same). For the latest information, please see What is Guest Invitation and Account limit and Count Method.
- "We have many users who don't need Training management, but just want to View SOPs"
- "Because our External Sharing feature makes URL Management complicated, we want to manage it on an account basis"
- "Our current account Limit is not enough, and trying to properly accommodate this would make the cost unrealistic"
We received many such requests from our customers and introduced the concept of Guest Permission!
For plans at Core or higher, you can invite Target users with 3 times the number of Users with Owner to View Permissions as Guest Permission Frames!
(With the Pro Plan, including Guest Permissions, you can use a total of 200 Frames (Owner to View Permission Frames 50 + Guest Permission Frames 150)!)
What is Guest Permission
Guest Permission is an account intended solely for Viewing specified Folders only.
Unlike External Sharing, it reduces the complexity of Folder Sharing Management and allows you to capture Audit logs, enabling you to operate with reduced Security risks. Note that it does not fall under Training management targets such as accumulating usage history or being a Target User for Skill Map, but it is possible to grant Guest Permission to internal Users as well.
For detailed differences, please see below.
User Permissions and Number of accounts
Plan and Price Impact
There is no impact. Customers who already have a Core Plan or higher contract will now have 3 times the number of Owner to View Permission Frames granted as Guest Permission Frames.
We will continue to provide valuable services tailored to your current situation, so we look forward to your continued use of Dive ◎
