You can change your Dive password yourself if you are logged in. If you cannot log in because you do not know your password, reset it from the login screen.
Changing your password while logged in
If you know your current password, change it using the steps below.
- Open the user icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then click [Change password] under [Account & Security].
- Enter [Current password], [New password], and [New password (confirm)].
- Click [Change]. When "Password has been changed." is displayed, you're done.
A new password must be at least 12 characters long and include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. If your current password is wrong, the message "The current password is incorrect" is displayed.
If you are logged in with Single Sign-On (SSO), you cannot change your password from Dive. Please change it on your identity provider (Microsoft Entra ID / SAML).
If you forgot your password
From the login screen, you will receive an email to reset your password.
-
On the login screen, click [Forgot your password?] below [Log in]. (If you are logged in, please log out first.)
-
On the [Reset password] screen, enter the email address you registered, then click [Send a password reset email].
-
When "Password reset email has been sent." is displayed, the email has been sent. If it does not arrive after a few minutes, please check your spam folder and the email address you entered.
-
Open the link in the email from no-reply@episotech.com (sender name: Dive) with the subject "Dive password reset". Enter [New password], then click [Change password] to finish.
Password for email-free accounts
An "Email-free account" (an account without an email address) cannot reset its password by email. If you forget the password, please have an Owner / Team Admin reset (reissue) the password. On the User management screen, you can reset the password for the target user, and a new initial password will be displayed.
