In Dive, you can set five different roles for each user: Owner, Team Administrator, Group Administrator, Created user, and View-only user. What content can be created and what operations can be performed depend on the role assigned.
Depending on the role you assign, the account will be counted either as an account or as a guest invitation.
Account limit
Each plan has a defined account limit. The five roles - Owner, Team Administrator, Group Administrator, Created user, and View-only user - all count toward this account limit combined. User roles can be changed freely at any time.
Example: For the Pro plan, the account limit for Owner through View-only is 50 people (the combined total of these five roles). For limits by plan, please refer to Account limit and how it is counted.
Inviting external parties as guests for information sharing only is counted separately from the above (up to 3 times the account limit). For more details, please refer to What is guest invitation.

Folder and SOP Access
Owner and Team Administrator are treated with privilege and ignore folder access restrictions, allowing access to all folders. Therefore, we recommend assigning basic roles to Group Administrator through View-only user, and keeping Owner and Team Administrator to a minimum.
Group Administrator, Created user, and View-only user follow folder access restrictions by default. Only when the "Folder view scope" option in "Business rules" under Owner Functions is enabled can users of the target roles (choose from Group Administrator and above, Created user and above, or View-only user and above) view folders for their subordinate groups as well (default is disabled). For more details, please refer to Enable viewing folders for subordinate groups (Folder view scope).
※ Inviting external parties as guests (for information sharing only, view-only) is outside the scope of the operational permissions list above. For details on how to share folders and how the screen appears, please refer to What is guest invitation.
For the differences in menu displayed on screen by role, please refer to Menus displayed by role.

Rules when granting and changing roles
Only users with roles equal to or below your own can be assigned or changed roles by yourself (you cannot grant a role higher than your own). Only Owner can assign Owner role. Also, Owner role cannot be assigned to Email-free account.
