Dive includes over 30 Industry templates. Rather than building skills from scratch, you can start with a template and use it as a foundation to inventory your company's skills.
For an overview of Skill Map, see What is a Skill Map? / Understanding Skill Marks.
Steps to create from a template
- In the sidebar, click [Skill] then [Team]
- Click the group where you want to set up a Skill Map (example: "Manufacturing Section 2")
-
Click [Edit skill map]
-
Click [Import], then click [From industry templates]
- A list of over 30 industry templates will appear. Select a template that matches your company and click [Preview]
※In the example below, "Sheet metal processing" is selected.
- The preview screen opens. Click [Apply to draft]
※If you already have defined skills, you can choose to overwrite them or add to them.
- The template is inserted into your working data. You can then customize this content to match your company's actual needs.
Skill structure
Dive's Skill Map is organized hierarchically as Category → Subcategory → Skill.
- To edit skills under a category, click the [triangle] button for the category you want.
※Below, [bending processing] is used as an example. When expanded, the category [bending processing] contains subcategories [press brake] and [roll bending], with [press brake] containing three skills including [press brake setup], and [roll bending] containing one skill [roll bending processing]. - Edit the skill definitions. Click the triangle button next to [Press brake setup] to review details and edit as needed.
What you can define for each skill
- Skill name
- Description: Overview of the skill
- Plan: The number of people in the group who should have the required skill level. This is used to visualize gaps against group goals on the Skill Map.
- Evaluation Criteria: Can be defined in four levels (for example, if someone can select V-width and punch "under instruction" but cannot "set up changeover and bending conditions on their own", they are rated as Level 2)
- Related procedures: When you link created SOPs, the history of users viewing those procedures is aggregated as development records for the target skill
- Convert to team-common skill: Only visible to Team Administrator or above. Available only on Enterprise plans. The defined skill is registered as a "Team-common skill" and becomes available for other groups to import when they set up their own Skill Maps (effective for cross-team skill management)
Save and apply
- Once you've finished editing, click [Save]. The Skill Map definition will be updated.
Visualize Workforce Plans and Gaps
When you set the Workforce Plan for each skill, it is calculated based on team members' skill status and displayed in the [Gap] column on the right (while member skill status definitions are incomplete, all show as gaps).
Set skill target/not target on a per-member basis
Define which members should have each skill. Click the top-right of the circle (○) in the member column to toggle between target and not target.
In the example below, info@episotech.com does not need [Technical drawing comprehension] as a required skill. The default is target. When set to not target, that skill becomes hidden on the user's individual page, making it clearer which skills the user should develop.
