Yes. Dive lets you manage your team's learning, skills, and qualifications across Training (Courses), Development (Skill Map), and Qualifications — three layers that work together. These three connect through Skills: when someone completes a Course or earns a Qualification, Skill levels automatically update in the Skill Map.
How "Training (Courses)", "Development (Skill Map)", and "Qualifications" fit together
Training management uses three layers, each with a different job:
- Training (Courses): A way to bundle and hand out "SOPs your team must watch". The goal is for team members to view and complete the SOPs — getting through the content.
- Development (Skill Map): A way to rate, plan, and track "what each person can do". It shows how people grow over time.
- Qualifications: A way to track licenses, in-house certifications, health checkups, and other credentials per person — and when they expire. It's your checklist for who can do what job.
The basic pattern is: use Training to push out content, use Development (Skill Map) to show each person's status. For more details on Development, see What is a Skill Map? / How to read Skill marks.
Three layers, connected by Skills
If you tag each Course with "Skills gained" and tag each Qualification with "Skills proven", the system automatically updates each person's Skill level in the Skill Map when they complete that Course or activate that Qualification. No need to manually copy-paste from Training or Qualifications into the Skill Map.
You can also raise a Skill level when someone finishes all the SOPs tied to that Skill. For step-by-step setup on all three routes, see Auto-update Skill level when a Course is completed, a Qualification is earned, or all SOPs linked to a Skill are done.
For details on Auto-evaluation settings and conditions, see Define team-wide Skills (Skill Map common settings).
