This feature filters which steps keep questions based on cue words the operator spoke during filming. When you specify target keywords in「Step conversion settings」, questions remain only on steps where those words are spoken, and questions are removed from all other steps.

Questions are available on Core, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Filtering is OFF by default, so unless you change the settings, all questions will be applied as before.

When to use this

AI processing actively creates questions whenever it finds scenes to evaluate. In long videos covering a single task, the step count increases, and questions increase proportionally. If you require answers to all of them, the burden on the people viewing it on the production floor becomes significant.

With this feature, you can keep questions only at the points where the operator intentionally gave a cue during filming. Use this when you want questions only at key moments or when you have many steps and want to narrow down the questions.

Matching is done using subtitles created from the video's audio. For videos with no audio, words cannot be found, so the checkbox cannot be selected.

How to set it up

When you create an SOP from source material,「Step conversion settings」appears
Confirm that「Apply questions to steps」is checked
Check「Keep questions only for steps where a keyword was spoken」
Press「Settings」to open「Target keyword settings」
Specify the words to target and press「Use these settings」
Return to「Step conversion settings」and press「Confirm with this content」

Your specified settings are saved and become the default values the next time you open「Step conversion settings」.

Specifying target keywords

In the upper section of「Target keyword settings」, decide which words to target. The list contains three types:

Templates — words registered by your team
Add — words you entered on this screen
Default — words pre-prepared in Dive (Caution, Point, Important, etc.)

Use the checkbox in each row to switch whether a word is used. Unchecked words are excluded from matching but do not disappear from the list. Operating the checkbox in the table header switches all displayed rows together.

To add a new word, enter it in the input field at the top and press Enter.

The「Matching steps」column for each row shows how many steps in this video contain that word. Words with 0 matches are not used in this video. Default words with no matches in this video are collapsed by default in the initial display and can be shown via a link below the table.

Words are matched while accounting for variations in writing. Katakana and hiragana, full-width and half-width characters, and the presence or absence of long vowel marks are treated as the same. Differences between kanji and kana (like "Confirm" versus "かくにん") are distinguished, so specify the wording as it is spoken in the video.

Choose from words that appear often in this video

Even if your team has decided on specific cue words, the actual filming may use different phrasing. For example, if you decided on "Caution" but the operator says "Be careful".

Below the input field, words that appear across multiple steps in that video are shown as suggestions. Click to add them to your targets. Since you can choose from words actually spoken, you avoid a situation where no matches are found.

Suggestions appear only in videos with a certain minimum number of steps. In videos with few steps, word usage patterns don't show enough variation to generate suggestions.

Check the results

The lower section shows what happens with that setting. You can see the total number of questions and how many will remain.

Switch between「Keep」and「Remove」to display the list of steps for each. The list shows the step number, step title, question text, and the spoken words that led to the match. Locations matching the keyword are highlighted in color.

On the「Remove」side, you can confirm what was actually spoken in that step. If a step you want to keep is being removed, add the words from that speech to your targets.

Register team-common keywords

Cue words decided by your team can be registered on the dictionary page, and they will appear as suggestions each time you create an SOP.

Open「Dictionary」from the left menu
Open「Question keywords」in the「Templates」tab
Enter a word and press「Add」

Registration is performed by users with Team Administrator or higher permissions. Templates are available on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Registered words appear as「Templates」in「Target keyword settings」. Whether to use them can be switched by each user, and that choice does not affect the registered content.

Filming workflow

This feature works best when cue words are decided at the filming stage. At scenes where you want confirmation, have the operator clearly speak the decided word, and questions will remain on that step.

If you choose words not frequently used in regular work instructions, you can capture only your target moments. If you choose a word like "Confirm" that appears often during the task, many steps will match and filtering won't be effective. Adjust by watching the「Matching steps」count.

Change later

Questions removed by filtering have their question type set to「None」. Since the actual question content remains, if the SOP is in Draft status, you can reset questions step by step. If you want to recreate it with different keywords, create an SOP again from the same source material.
