In this release, we've made it possible to set folder view scope settings in detail to match your department hierarchy. We've also made improvements to search result readability, usage report aggregation, and video import.
1. You can now set folder view scope in detail to match your department hierarchy
We've added the following two options to "Folder view scope" in the "Business rules" tab of "Owner Functions".
- You can now choose the target roles for "Enable viewing folders for groups below your group" from Group Administrator or higher, Created user or higher, or View-only user or higher (October 6). Previously, only Group Administrator or higher could be selected. Guests cannot be selected
- We've added "Do not display procedures for folders filtered in a higher group to people in lower groups" (October 7). When enabled, procedures in folders filtered in a higher group are displayed only to people who belong directly to that group. People in lower groups can open the higher-level folder to navigate to their own group's folder, but procedures in that folder will not be displayed. The default is off
This is a setting for teams using group hierarchy. Since groups cannot be created in Free or Lite plans, the display will not change.
2. Other improvements and bug fixes
●Creating and editing SOPs
- For bulk editing SOPs and changes to the SOP player, see 2026-10-08 New feature: Evaluate/approve skills in bulk. Add approvers during approval. and more
- We've replaced export format samples with four ready-to-use complete files (Excel, Word, PowerPoint 1 step per slide, and PowerPoint 2 steps per slide). You can now also edit the name of a registered export format from the list later (Team Administrator or higher)
- We've made it possible to use AI processing and import regulations even for protected PDFs that only restrict editing and copying. For PDFs that require a password to open, we now display the reason: "This PDF requires a password to open and cannot be processed with AI. Please provide a file with the password removed"
- We've improved the readability of the Terminology Glossary screen. You can now collapse the company-wide settings (About this site, Language of SOPs you create from now on), which are displayed in the heading with the current value, and the terms table is now displayed split by page
- We've improved the appearance of the Dictionaries / Templates screen. The "Save" button is now disabled when there are no changes in the writing guidelines
- We've fixed an issue where conversations would stop midway if the mandatory fields in regulations exceeded 40 characters in "AI consultation before you build"
- We've changed "Check all" in "Pre-publish check" to verify compliance with regulations first
- We've fixed an issue where pressing "Confirm edits" while playing in the video editor would show the thumbnail from a different scene
- We've fixed an issue where copying, pasting, or duplicating only some of the video procedures would show uncopied procedures on the edit screen
- For video procedures where the source material is not found, we've changed the unavailable "Edit video" button to a prompt to re-insert the video from the thumbnail's "Replace" option
●Video import
- We've fixed an issue where pressing "Retry" on videos that failed processing after September 17 would display "Failed to re-execute" and prevent reprocessing (October 5). For details, see Fixed: "Failed to re-execute" displays when pressing retry on video processing
- We've fixed an issue where videos with audio that cuts off midway (such as screen recordings where only the audio cuts off first) would fail conversion. Materials that previously failed can now be imported with "Retry"
●Viewing SOPs
- We've fixed an issue in the SOP player where releasing the seek bar didn't complete the operation and moving the mouse over it would continue to move the playback position
- In "View in 3D", we've aligned the size and aspect ratio of AR Objects for images with those in the Dive app. Audio AR Objects now play when approached (within 3 meters) or clicked, just like in the Dive app
- We've shortened the wait time for "Checking permissions..." that was displayed every time a page opened
- When communication fails when opening a procedure from a QR code or link, instead of displaying "Invalid procedure", we now show a retry screen
- We've fixed an issue where pressing "Go to folder" on a procedure opened from an external sharing URL would return to the home screen
- When "Your first procedure" guidance is displayed on the home screen, we now also display the tabs for viewing history, favorites, and mastery below it
●Search
- We've improved the readability of the search results list display. We now place the hit location and storage folder within the procedure name column, consolidate hits for the same procedure into one, and display the first two (remaining hits open with "and N more"). Card view and smartphone displays now use the same format
- We've fixed an issue where a procedure that appears in normal search would show "Not found" in "Search with AI". You can now find procedures using words that appear only in the procedure body
- We've fixed an issue where all item counts were displayed as 0 when search conditions were opened (including top and "Find revisions"). Filtering now works when only "File-based" is selected
●Usage Report
- We've fixed an issue where the total number of published procedures for the entire team included publications outside the specified period. The more you narrow the period, the more were displayed incorrectly. The reduction in creation time based on published procedure count is now also correct
- We've fixed an issue where the denominator for total procedures and reference rate included the number of folders. Folders will no longer appear as "(Name not loaded)" in the unused list
●Remote support
- We've made it so the call screen closes when you log out
- We've fixed an issue where AR instructions from the previous call remained when starting a new call
●Other
- We've updated the screen colors to match the new brand colors
- On the wishlist for creation plans, we've made it clear that changes made in "Assign an owner" are saved immediately. When removed from the plan, the wishlist status is reverted
- Email address input fields (login, registration, add user, etc.) now automatically remove leading and trailing spaces
Impact on existing customers
No changes require reconfiguration. The number of published procedures in the usage report will be lower when narrowed by period (now showing the correct value).
