Let's review the structure of the detailed edit screen. It is organized as follows.
-
Verify and Save bar
You can save and restore edits, verify outputs, and publish or request approval.
-
Information menu selection
You can select which information to edit. By default, this is the edit menu for step details.
-
Edit main area
You mainly perform editing here.
Select storage folder
SOPs are managed using folders. Select a storage folder for the SOP you created.
-
Click "Basic information" in the information menu selection area.
- Click "Select folder".
-
A folder list appears. Click the desired folder (in this example, click "Temporary folder").
-
You can now see the contents of the folder. Click "Select this folder".
Edit SOP title and overview
Edit the title and overview so that when team members browse the SOP list in a folder, they can easily understand the SOP content.
-
(If you haven't changed the menu yet) Click "Basic information" in the information menu selection area.
-
If you created the SOP from a video, the initial values show the AI-generated title and overview. Edit them as needed.
* If you have the Pro plan or higher, you can also regenerate them based on the current step details.
Verify before publishing (Pre-publish check)
Before publishing, you can verify your SOP against seven dimensions—What is decided, policies, How to write it, Export format, Storage folder, Reason for publishing and summary, and Tags—using the "Pre-publish check" button at the top of the edit screen. For each finding, select "Fixed" or "No action needed", and then click "Mark the check complete" for each section. Your results are saved, so approvers see the same checklist.
The dimensions you can verify depend on your plan. For more details, see Verify your SOP using seven dimensions (Pre-publish check).
Publish
This is the final step! Once you have finished editing, publish your SOP so other team members can view it.
-
Click "Publish" on the right side of the Verify and Save bar.
-
Edit the revision details (e.g., "First publication"), and click "Execute".
*If an approval workflow is set up, a screen to choose the approval workflow will appear. Select the approval workflow, designate approvers if needed, and click "Send the request" to notify the approvers.
Great work! Your SOP has been published!
Keep uploading videos and publishing SOPs this way!
To see whether your published SOP is actually being viewed in the field, you can check the Usage Report.
