Welcome to Dive!
Dive is a video SOP system with the philosophy that "you just shoot and the SOP is created. Accumulated videos improve the work floor."
Shoot your work video as you normally do, and AI will segment it by step and create written descriptions. Every time you create, videos and SOPs accumulate in your team. By using them for teaching, developing people, comparing, and measuring, you can achieve a workplace where anyone can teach with consistent results and work improves.

What kind of SOPs can be created?
For each step, you can view all information as a set. You can build an SOP with video, text, and questions that removes hesitation in judgment.
Together with video for each step, you can provide know-how such as judgment criteria, tips, and quality warnings in text form, and even questions to verify "is this correct?" Everything is linked and displayed for each step. By clarifying workplace judgment—which tends to be ambiguous with video alone—through text and questions, the uncertainty of "I still don't understand" and "Is my work correct?" disappears.
*Questions are a feature for Core plan and above. On Free and Lite plans, you can use video and text only.
You can also add AR (Augmented Reality) steps that layer information on real objects at necessary locations. For more details, see AR use cases and how to incorporate into SOPs.
Dive philosophy: Create → Accumulate → Leverage
Video-based SOP creation is faster than writing, clearer to understand when viewed, and preserves video as an actual work record. With Dive, you don't just create an SOP and stop—you use accumulated videos from each creation to develop people and improve work.
Create: Just shoot and AI creates the SOP
- Shoot a continuous video without cutting or narrating, just as you normally would. AI segments it by step based on movement, objects, and audio, and creates step names, captions, and text for tips and precautions. You can also create SOPs from screen recordings on your PC.
- You can import existing SOPs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF) and convert them into SOPs. When analyzing video, you can specify them as reference and retain the number and order of steps (beta version). For details, see How to choose a method for importing your materials into Dive.
- Created SOPs can be exported as PDF, Excel, Word, or PowerPoint and printed for use (PDF, Excel, and Word are Core plan and above; PowerPoint is Pro plan and above). You can also export in your registered company format (such as work standards documents) (see Export format • Enterprise plan).
Accumulate: With each creation, videos and SOPs become team assets
- Created SOPs and videos accumulate in your team, can be organized with folders, and can be refined through revisions.
- What to create next can be decided based on "desired procedures" collected from the work floor (see Desired procedures).
- When a paid subscription ends, it automatically transfers to the Free plan, and data such as SOPs, video materials, and usage history are not deleted (accounts exceeding Free plan limits are deactivated). For details, see What happens when your paid plan ends?
Leverage: With accumulated videos, teach, develop, compare, and measure
Videos are records of actual work, so they enable use cases that text-only SOPs cannot.
- Teach: Distribute training as courses bundled with SOPs and confirm who has completed each step (see How to use courses • Core plan and above).
- Develop: Link SOPs to skills in the Skill Map (competency table). When a linked SOP is completed by one person, the level automatically increases based on the achievement, and the history of changes is retained. The level also increases when completing a course or obtaining a certification (see Automatic skill level updates • Core plan and above).
- Compare: Cross-reference worker videos with SOPs to verify proper procedure execution, or compare with a model to see where differences lie (see Compare with SOP • Pro plan and above).
- Measure: Break down work into elements and view time and waste numerically to compare before and after improvements (see Work analysis overview and how to get started • Pro plan and above).
Dive screen layout
The home screen is divided into the following elements.
-
Sidebar
A Create new button and menus for accessing various features are displayed. You can also collapse it by pressing the X button. -
Top bar
Buttons to access notifications and your information (including contract information). -
Main area
Content of each feature accessed from the sidebar is displayed. On the home screen, the following is displayed:- Search box: Search for SOPs that match keywords among accessible SOPs
- View history: A list of previously accessed SOPs is displayed
Main menus used in SOP creation
"Create new" button
Use this button when you want to create a new SOP.
When you click it, a selection of creation methods appears. Choose your desired method. Until published, it is stored in "Drafts / Approvals" and cannot be viewed by others. Feel free to create.
When you haven't decided what to create, you can use the [AI consultation before you build] button below the creation method card to determine your purpose, audience, type, and scope through conversation with AI (Core plan and above, beta version). For details, see Decide purpose and format before creating an SOP (AI consultation before you build).
SOP - Published
A list of basic SOPs. You can check the list with a YouTube-like appearance.
SOPs can be managed with a folder tree, and in the case of folders with access restrictions, accounts that do not belong to the specified group cannot access them. The folder tree has unlimited hierarchy and can be managed.
You can also create new SOPs from within a specified folder.
You can also switch to list view to match your preference.
SOP - Drafts / Approvals
All SOPs being created are stored here.
If you are set as an approver, you can view SOPs that have approval requests. After obtaining approval workflow, published SOPs are stored in the "SOP" mentioned above and become viewable by others.
You can also check drafts shared by other users.
Materials
A place to store materials used in SOPs (videos, images, etc.) (viewing-only accounts do not have this menu).
If you have materials you want to use in your SOP, upload them here first. For videos, an AI step-split option appears. While you're at it, run the AI!
Creation Plan
A menu to plan, assign, and manage progress of SOPs planned to be developed within a folder. Pro plan and above enables Plan map and Excel import/export (My assignments are available on all plans). For details, see How to use Creation Plan.
Training management (Training / Development)
Three features for bundling multiple SOPs: [Training] for distributing and managing course enrollment, [Development] (Skill Map) for managing competency evaluation and training plans, and [Certification] for managing deadlines such as licenses, in-house certifications, and health checkups. For details, see How to use courses / What is the Skill Map?
Dictionary / Templates
Manage dictionaries and tags used organization-wide: Pronunciation Dictionary / Terminology Glossary / Notation Unification Dictionary / Tag feature. Settings made here are automatically reflected in SOP playback, translation, and search.
Also, we summarize what to follow when creating SOPs in the [Authoring rules] tab (see Regulations / Authoring guidelines / Export format). For details, see Consolidate what to follow when creating an SOP (Authoring rules).
Desired procedures (Idea board)
A board for collecting "SOPs we want to create" from the work floor. For details, see How to use Desired procedures.
