What are Step-level Questions?

You can add question items to each step in your SOP. With standard questions, users cannot move to the next step until they answer (or select the correct answer if one is configured). However, there are exceptions: questions with conditional branching enabled will branch even on an incorrect answer, and questions marked as "Use as pass/fail judgment" will allow progress even if marked as abnormal. Responses are saved as Viewing records, which you can use for work management and to check viewing status in Skill Map.

Available question types are:

Yes/No selection
Single selection
Multiple selection
Free text input (numbers)
Free text input (text)

Testing with Questions

For choice-based questions (Yes/No, Single selection, Multiple selection), you can set a Correct answer and use them like a test. Users cannot advance to the next step until they select the correct answer. All answer attempts are saved, so you can see which questions users are struggling with.

For free text input (numbers), you can set a Correct range (lower limit to upper limit). Values outside the range are marked as incorrect. If you have already set range conditions in conditional branching, you can reuse that range as the correct range with one click.

Inspection and Checklist Operations (Use as Pass/Fail Judgment)

Enable the [Use as pass/fail judgment] checkbox below the question type selector. When enabled, the question will record Normal / Abnormal instead of Correct / Incorrect.

For choice-based questions, a "Normal" column appears in the choices table; mark one or more choices as normal
For numbers, the "Correct range" field changes to "Normal range"; set the lower and upper limits
Whether normal or abnormal, the SOP continues without stopping, and the response is recorded as "abnormal" in Viewing records

How to Configure

For Video Steps

In the video editor, click "Question" for the step in question
Select your desired configuration from the dropdown.

For Non-video Steps (Images, etc.)

Configure from the "Question" option for the step in the edit screen.
