You can set the sharing scope of a Work Analysis project to make it visible to other members. You can share the standard time measurement results with the entire team for consensus building, or share with just your group for site-specific review.
Three Sharing Scopes
For each project, you can choose from the following three (default is Only me or the same sharing scope as the original video material).
- Only me: Only the creator can view and edit (default)
- Same group (including subgroups): Members of the creator's group and its subgroups can view
- Entire team: All members of the team can view
When you expand the sharing scope, by default shared recipients can only view, but you can allow editing for shared recipients by turning on [Allow other members to edit] in the sharing scope dialog. However, view-only users are always read-only regardless of this check.
Changing Sharing Scope
- Open [Work Analysis] in the sidebar and return to the list screen showing the target project
- Click the […] (three-dot vertical) menu at the right end of the project row
- Select [Sharing scope] from the menu
- In the dialog, select one of [Only me] / [Same group (including subgroups)] / [Entire team] and click [Change]
When you change the sharing scope, the project immediately appears on the list screen for members in the selected scope (live subscription).
The dialog also has a checkbox for [Allow other members to edit].
- OFF (default): Shared recipients can only view, export to Excel, and use comparisons you added
- ON: Shared recipients can also edit the analysis (add, change, cut, reorder elements, re-export the after video, etc.). However, view-only users are always read-only as an exception
This check is disabled when [Only me] is selected (since others cannot see it anyway).
The […] menu for sharing scope is displayed only to the creator. It does not appear on analyses shared from others.
How It Appears to Shared Recipients
Analyses shared by other members at the team/group level appear mixed in with the Work Analysis list screen.
- Sharing scope column: The creator's name appears with "shared from ◯◯" and a green team icon
- Use the filter (column header refinement) in the sharing scope column to select "shared" and extract only analyses shared from others
- Shared analyses can be opened in the same view as the creator's by clicking the row to verify the contents
- You can also export to Excel and view the after video
- Editing operations (adding, changing, cutting, reordering elements, re-exporting the after video, etc.) are limited to the creator only by default, but if the creator turns on [Allow other members to edit], shared recipients can also edit (view-only users are always read-only)
Shared analyses appear in the root folder on your screen, even if other members have organized them in folders (folders are individual organization and are not shared).
Inheriting Sharing Scope from Original Video Material
When creating a new Work Analysis project, if the original video material is set to group shared or team sharing, the project is created with that sharing scope as the default.
This creates a flow where "the material was shared with the team, so the analysis created from it is automatically team-shared." After that, you can independently change the analysis's sharing scope.
When Not Assigned to a Group
If the creator is not yet assigned to any group and selects group sharing, the following message appears.
Since you are not assigned to a group, even if you make this group-shared, it won't currently be visible to other members.
The sharing setting itself is saved, but it won't actually be shared until the creator is later assigned to a group. If you want to share right away, use [User management] to assign yourself to the group first before setting this.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can shared members also export to Excel?
A. Yes. If they can view it, they can download the Excel file with the same contents from the [Export to Excel] button in the top right. For details, see Exporting Work Analysis Results to Excel (Extracting standard time).
Q. Can shared members edit the analysis?
A. By default, it's view-only, but if you turn on [Allow other members to edit] in the sharing scope dialog, shared recipients can also edit. Even if turned on, view-only users remain read-only. If you don't want to allow collaborative editing, leave the check OFF.
Q. Can I narrow the sharing scope later?
A. Yes. The creator can follow the same steps ([…] → [Sharing scope]) to go back to [Only me], and it will then disappear from other members' lists.
