We've enabled tracking of which learners stumbled on which questions in educational assessment tests. Additionally, AI now creates questions for SOPs created from materials, and owners can now set output and download permissions on a per-feature basis.
① You can now view Assessment Test attempt history
Previously, assessment test results only showed pass/fail and the correct answer rate. There was no way to see who made mistakes on which questions or how many times, making it impossible to use the results to revise questions or provide follow-up support to learners who were struggling.
Now, a record is saved each time a learner takes a test, and you can see which option each learner selected for each question.
● Where to open attempt history
- In the "Analytics (stumbles / assessment tests)" option from the course list, open the course analytics, then select "Attempt history." All learners in that course are displayed. Click the learner's name on the question card to view only that learner's history
- In the pass/fail display of the assessment test under "Assignment / progress." This opens the history for that one learner
- In the "Education" tab in the by-person/group view and personal page, and in that learner's "Mastery" card's "Attempt history"
The list shows the test date and time, attempt number, number of correct answers, and pass/fail status. When you open a row, you can see the answers to each question. Correct/incorrect is determined by the correct answer at the time the test was taken. Even if questions are replaced or reordered later, past attempts will not appear as incorrect answers to different questions. If questions are changed after taking the test, a notice to that effect appears above the history.
● You can now shuffle the order of assessment test choices on every attempt
We've added "Shuffle the order of the choices on every attempt" to the course editing screen. The default is On, and existing courses are treated as On. This prevents learners from memorizing the position of the correct answer. If your course includes choices where the order is meaningful, such as "All of the above," switch this to Off.
② AI now creates questions even when creating from files
Previously, importing PDFs, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint only performed "transcribing questions that were already written in the original material." As a result, SOPs created from materials had no questions at all, and you had to manually add them to include field verification.
We've added "Create questions" to the AI processing options. The default is On, and AI creates questions for the work content based on the material. Questions are not created for pages with no work content, such as title pages, tables of contents, or revision histories.
● You can also choose from the following options
- You can choose the "Question type" (field verification / comprehension test) the same way as for videos. The default is "Field verification"
- Materials for which you selected "Field verification" during analysis will have "Continue when unexpected" enabled from the start when creating an SOP
- When the body writing style is "Transcription," you cannot select "Create questions" because it's a mode that copies the original text as-is. In this case, only questions already in the original material are imported as before
- If created questions are not needed, you can exclude them using "Apply questions to steps" when creating the SOP
③ You can now set output and download permissions on a per-feature basis (Enterprise)
The "Permitted user roles per feature" in Owner Functions had only 7 items, leaving out named reports and file-based SOPs. In particular, file-based SOPs used the SOP file output permission, so restricting output would also restrict viewing, and conversely, opening output would also allow file removal.
We've added the following 4 as independent items, bringing the total to 11.
- Download of file-based SOPs. This is now a separate item from SOP file output. While unset, it inherits the settings from "SOP file output," and once saved, it works independently
- Viewing records and checksheet export (Default: View-only user or above)
- Work Analysis export (quick analysis / comparison with steps / time analysis / Default: Created user or above)
- Creation Plan export (Default: Created user or above)
The default settings for the 3 new items are aligned with those who could operate before this setting was added. Unless you change the settings, those who could output before will continue to be able to.
● We consolidated development, qualifications, and training output into one
We've expanded what was previously the "Skill Map output" item to "Development, Qualifications and Training export." Previously, only the education (course enrollment) Excel passed through this permission, so anyone could output course enrollment records with names. The previously set values are inherited as-is.
● Other items
- Buttons that cannot be pressed due to lack of permissions now appear disabled, and hovering the cursor shows the reason
- Attached files registered as qualification certificates now follow "Download attachments"
- The personal page's usage report can be used by the person themselves to output their own data, unless you set this permission to "No one"
If you have Word, Excel, or PowerPoint registered as file-based SOPs, they cannot be opened without downloading, so restricting "Download of file-based SOPs" will prevent the targeted people from viewing the SOPs themselves. If you want to display them on screen, convert them to PDF and register them. The same warning is displayed on the settings screen.
④ Group Administrators can now view folders in their subgroups
※ This item reflects the release on 2026-09-10. Currently, the role for showing subgroup folders can be chosen from "Group Administrator or above," "Created user or above," or "View-only user or above." For the latest explanation, see Enable Group Administrators to View Folders in Their Subgroups (Folder view scope).
Folder access restriction works by tracing the hierarchy upward (to parent groups), so simply belonging to a parent group does not allow you to access folders that are made public only to subgroups. To show them to a Group Administrator who is responsible for managing subgroups, you had to add them to each subgroup individually.
We've added "Folder view scope" to the "Business rules" tab in Owner Functions. The initial state is Off, so the current view will not change until you enable it.
- View: Enables Group Administrators to view all folders for the groups they manage
- Edit: Enables editing and revision in addition to the view above (this is also Off by default)
When you change the parent-child relationship of groups due to organizational restructuring, they will automatically follow without needing to re-add memberships. If "Groups that can also edit" is specified on the folder side, that specification takes priority. Setting changes are recorded in the audit log.
⑤ Other improvements
- We've discontinued the "Prerequisite qualifications" for courses (qualifications you should have before taking this course). This feature only issued warnings without stopping enrollment, and the direction was opposite to "Renewal training" (qualifications → courses) on the qualifications side, causing confusion. The relationship between qualifications and courses is now consolidated in the qualifications page's "Renewal training"
- SOP status labels within courses (completed / incorrect / incomplete / unviewed) are now translated to match the display language
- The average score for assessment tests is now displayed only when the full marks for each attempt are aligned and match the current number of questions
- The display language selection in the user menu is now less cramped even for languages with long names
- Fixed an issue where the screen could freeze when group parent-child relationships form a cycle in the data
Impact on Existing Use
The settings added in ③ and ④ remain as they are now until you change them. The default settings in ③ are aligned with those who could operate before this setting was added, and ④ has an initial state of Off.
Only "Prerequisite qualifications" for courses in ⑤ will no longer appear on the screen if you had set them. Since this feature did not have the ability to stop enrollment, it has no impact on enrollment or progress records. To set qualifications as a condition for operations, use "Renewal training" on the qualifications page or "Required qualifications" on the SOP.
