In Dive, you can configure 5 different roles for each user: Owner / Team Administrator / Group Administrator / Created user / View-only user. The role you assign determines what content can be created and what operations can be performed.
The role you assign determines whether users count toward your account limit or guest invitations.
Account limit
Each plan has a defined account limit that can be used. The 5 roles (Owner / Team Administrator / Group Administrator / Created user / View-only user) all count together toward this account limit. User roles can be changed freely at any time.
Example: For the Pro plan: The account limit from Owner through View-only users is 50 people (total of these 5 roles). For the limit by plan, please see Account limit and how to count.
When inviting external parties for information sharing only, Guest invitations are counted separately (up to 3 times the account limit). For details, see What are guest invitations?

Folder and SOP access
Owners and Team Administrators are treated as privileged users; folder access restrictions are bypassed and they can access all folders. For this reason, it is recommended to assign basic roles to Group Administrators through View-only users, and keep Owners and Team Administrators to a minimum.
* External guest invitations (information sharing only, view-only) are outside the scope of the above operation permission list. For details on how to share folders and what users see, please see What are guest invitations?

Rules for granting and changing roles
Users can only grant or change roles that are at or below their own role level (you cannot grant a role higher than your own). Only Owners can grant the Owner role. Also, the Owner role cannot be granted to email-free accounts.
