We're excited to announce a major release of features related to field deployment and operations management. This update significantly improves the operational phase experience with three key goals: "get Dive everywhere in the field," "share confidently with external partners," and "support anytime, anywhere." This article highlights the key improvements in this update.
① Bulk print QR
Until now, QR code printing was only possible one SOP at a time, requiring repeated printing sessions to place Dive QR codes across different areas, shelves, machines, and processes. With this release, you can now print multiple SOPs and Folders together on A4 paper in a grid layout.
●Selectable print layouts
- Choose from A4 1-up / 4-up / 9-up / 24-up. Adapt to the size of your posting location
- Use 1-up for large displays, 24-up for shelf tags, or 4-9 up for standard field deployments—all in one workflow
●Fine-grained control over displayed information
- Individually toggle on/off: SOP name / Summary / Step count / URL / Thumbnail
- Filter by section: "Folder only," "SOP only," or "include this folder itself"
- QR code size automatically optimizes based on layout and display items
This transforms QR deployment from "let's test with one sheet" to "complete field-wide rollout in a single print job."
② User management redesigned
The previous user management screen stacked groups, members, invitations, transfers, and permission changes vertically, making it hard to see at a glance "who belongs to which group with what permissions." We've completely rebuilt the screen structure.
●New user management structure
- Two-pane layout: Group tree on the left / Member list on the right. Selecting a group switches the right pane to that group's members
- Member details slide in: Click a row and details slide in from the right. Edit permissions, group affiliation, and sync status in place—no page navigation
- Filter bar: Instant search by name, email address, or role
- Scope bar: One-click toggle between "Only me" and "Entire team" (options vary by permission level)
- Batch operations bar: Select multiple members and the bar appears below. Perform group additions and permission changes in bulk
●Streamlined invitations and integrations
- Invite modal: Email input + group and permission selection in a single modal
- Add to group modal: Independently manage adding selected members to groups
User management shifts from "filling out a tall form top to bottom" to "navigating between org chart and member list, making only the changes you need right here." This structure scales to 100 or 1000+ members without breaking down.
③ Permitted user roles per feature
Previously, Dive locked each feature's availability to fixed roles, preventing customization like "we want field staff to export SOP PDFs" or "we want to restrict external sharing URLs to management only." Now you can configure which roles can use each feature directly from the admin panel.
●Configurable features (initial release)
- Export file (PDF / Excel / MP4): Control who can take SOPs outside Dive, aligned with your data export policy
- Folder Excel export: Folder-level inventory export (includes SOP info and URLs)
- Issue URL: Who can create time-limited external sharing URLs for external partners
●Setting scope
- Choose from: "Everyone (including guests)," "View-only user or above," "Created user or above," "Group Administrator or above," "Team Administrator or above," or "Owner only"
- For unauthorized roles, the button or menu itself stays hidden—not grayed out or blocked. This prevents field confusion by keeping disallowed features completely out of sight
- Click 「Restore defaults」 to return to Dive's recommended initial settings in one click
Dive becomes a flexible operations platform where you adjust the balance between "field autonomy" and "information governance" to match your policy. We'll keep expanding supported features.
④ Issued external sharing URLs management
Dive has long offered time-limited external sharing URLs for contractors, partners, and new hires. However, there was no way to view or manage which URLs are active, when they were issued, and by whom—leaving governance to manual tracking. We've added a dedicated management dashboard for issued external sharing URLs.
●What the dashboard does
- Issued URLs list: See who issued each URL, when, which SOP, and the expiration date in one view
- Extend or shorten expiration: Instantly adjust deadlines without reissuing
- Disable (revoke) and restore: Immediately revoke URLs shared by mistake or if circumstances change. Restore accidental revocations
- Toggle view: Show only active URLs by default. Toggle to include disabled and expired URLs when needed
●Access by role
- Regular members: See only their own issued URLs. Manage only your own responsibility scope
- Owner / Team Administrator: Toggle between "Only me" and "Entire team." Perfect for audits and full team inventory of shared content
External sharing shifts from "issue and forget" to "continuously managed asset," letting you confidently handle external sharing as part of information security.
⑤ Remote support on mobile
Remote support required the helper (senior staff or manager) to use a PC only. Yet support requests happen during travel, in transit, or during site visits when a PC isn't available—creating a gap between "someone noticed the request" and "someone can respond." With this release, support providers can respond from their smartphones too.
●What changes with mobile support
- Respond to support requests from anywhere: Use your smartphone during travel, at remote sites, or while visiting facilities to answer calls, share screens, and annotate
- Faster response times: Field staff don't wait long for help, reducing site downtime
- Both helper and requester on mobile: For example, a manager on a smartphone in the office responds to a field worker's request from a smartphone or smart glasses
We've optimized the mobile experience including support request message display and call screen layout for smaller devices.
Remote support evolves from "only works when you're at your desk" to "help field issues no matter where your experienced staff are."
⑥ Other improvements
- Delete and undo logic refactored: Unified SOP, Folder, and member deletion/undo behavior for consistent recovery from mistakes
- Safer folder moves: Added guards to prevent accidental folder drops during drag-and-drop operations
- Team Logo upload: Admins can set a team logo, letting you brand Dive to match your team's identity
- External sharing URL bug fix: Fixed URL generation failures under specific conditions
For existing users
These features are all additions and improvements to existing behavior. Your current SOPs, groups, user settings, and issued external sharing URLs are unaffected and ready to use immediately.
Access Bulk print QR from the procedure list selection, 「User management」 from the left menu, 「Permitted user roles per feature」 from the admin panel, issued external sharing URLs management from the preview screen sharing menu, and remote support on mobile from the latest Dive app.
Permitted user roles per feature uses Dive's recommended default settings initially, matching your current behavior. Change settings only if you want to adjust to your own policy.
We're building a scalable operations foundation where you can "create, distribute, protect, and support" video SOPs no matter how large your field grows. We hope this update becomes the backbone of your field deployment and operations governance.
