Disabled users are logically deleted, so the Owner / Team Admin can restore them from "Disabled users" at any time. There is no need to re-invite or re-add them. When you restore a user, their usage history, group affiliation, and permissions are restored as they were.
Restoration steps
- Open [User management] in the sidebar
- Click the [Disabled] button at the top of the screen (displayed only to Owner / Team Admin)
- The "Disabled users" list will open. Find the target user (see "Finding users" below)
- To restore just one person, click [Restore] on that row. To restore multiple people at once, select them using the checkboxes on the left of the rows, then click [Restore in bulk] at the top
- In the confirmation dialog, click [Restore] to complete the restoration
Finding users
- Search: You can search by name, email, or Login ID
- Filter: You can filter from the headings for [Permission], [Email / Login ID] (email / Email-free), and [Reason] (Account limit / Administrator action). [Account limit] refers to users who were disabled when the account count exceeded the plan limit due to plan changes, etc.
- Sort: You can sort by [Name] and [Disabled at] headings
- Pagination: You can choose 20, 50, or 100 users per page
- To select all filtered users at once, select [Select all pages] from the ▼ next to the checkbox in the heading
When account limit is exceeded
If restoring the selected users with their original permissions would exceed the account limit, a screen to choose [How to restore] appears. For each person, select [Restore with original permission], [Restore as guest], or [Do not restore], then click [Restore]. The screen is pre-filled with a recommendation that fits within the account limit (restoring higher-permission users with original permissions and the rest as guests). The screen shows the number of accounts after restoration and the number of guests.
Users restored as guests can only see the folders they are allowed to view (View only). Their viewing records are not included in the automatic aggregation for Skill Map and usage history. Group affiliation is restored as it was. If account capacity becomes available, you can change permissions in the User list.
On plans where guest invitations are not supported, you cannot select [Restore as guest]. If you have users exceeding the guest invitation limit or other capacity constraints, select [Do not restore] for those users, or disable other users first to free up capacity, then perform the restoration.
Important notes
- Only Owner / Team Admin can restore users
- Users restored with original permissions have their usage history, group affiliation, and permissions restored to the state before disabling. Users restored as guests have their usage history and group affiliation restored, but their permission becomes guest
