In Dive, you can set an educational planning period and development lead for each skill level. The assigned development lead can use this to identify target persons from their "Mentees" list and effectively manage development initiatives.
For an overview of Skill Map, see What is Skill Map? / How to read Skill marks.
Setting up development plans
From the Plan settings on the right side of the screen (same as the Skill Level settings), you can set the development period and person in charge.
To set plans for multiple people at once, select a person from the Skill Analysis list and perform bulk changes to the development lead, Plan period settings, and send notifications to both the individual and the development lead. For the procedure, see Check progress status across all groups by skill and follow up on development together.
How it gets communicated to the development lead
- Users assigned as development leads can check from their "Mentees" list which skills of which people they need to improve.
- Progress (SOP view history, training records) can also be checked in bulk from the development lead's side.
- With Needs re-check in the "Mentees" list, you can identify skills of mentees who struggled after Solo completion or have not yet performed after the SOP was revised (levels are not automatically lowered).
- If you enter a Plan period, it becomes easier to identify members who have not achieved the target.
Email arrives as the deadline approaches
If you enter an expiry date (the expected date to reach that level) in the development plan, reminder emails are automatically sent at 3 days before expiry, 1 day before, and after expiry — three times in total. No additional configuration is needed.
- The addressee is the development lead. If no development lead is assigned, the email goes to the target person themselves.
- If someone has already reached that target level, no email is sent.
- People for whom this skill is marked as "Not target", guests, and Disabled users are excluded.
- For the same expiry date, each stage email is sent only once. If you change the expiry date, it will be sent again with the new date.
- Delivery runs in bulk every day at 08:00 (JST).
If you have linked courses or qualifications to skills, the level automatically rises when the course is Completed or the qualification is obtained, and reminders will no longer be sent for plans that have been achieved. For details, see Set member skill levels.
Tips for effective use
- Even broad plans like "all members uniformly for six months" become easier to understand when visualized.
- By clarifying who is in charge, OJT on the front lines starts to operate on a person-in-charge basis.
- Regular progress checks and plan reviews help make operations stick.
