In the SOP playback screen, you can move to the previous or next step by pressing the arrow keys ← / →. This works the same way as clicking the "Next" and "Previous" buttons.
How to use
- → (right arrow key): Go to the next step (same as the "Next" button in the bottom right)
- ← (left arrow key): Go to the previous step (same as the "Previous" button in the bottom right)
When keyboard navigation is disabled
Keyboard navigation is disabled in the following situations (to prevent accidental operation):
- When focus is on an input field, text area, or edit region (arrow keys are treated as cursor movement while typing)
- When a Question modal, Table of Contents modal, Search modal, Language modal, Completed modal, or File modal linked to a step is open
- Before playback starts (the "Click to start" screen)
- During IME conversion, or when pressing Alt / Ctrl / Cmd keys simultaneously
When this is useful
- On PC or tablet (with Bluetooth keyboard) when you want to reduce mouse usage
- On the shop floor with one hand occupied when you want to advance steps using only the hand on the keyboard
- During presentations or morning briefings when you want to display on a large screen while controlling playback with just your keyboard
