"Compare with SOP" is a feature that compares a worker's video against an SOP and verifies using AI whether the work follows procedures correctly. It identifies skipped steps, out-of-order execution, and risky moments. Available on Pro plan and above.
The AI provides reference findings only and does not make a pass/fail determination. The final judgment must be made by the supervising staff.
Add comparison
- Open [Work Analysis] → [Compare with SOP] from the left side menu
- Click [Add comparison] at the top right and choose the reference source as either [From an SOP] or [From file]
- Select the target person (the one who performed the task) and the work video
- Click [Start]
When you select a reference, its name and "Check the contents" option appear. For the SOP, you can view it in the player; for the file, you can check it in the AI processing results screen before deciding.
Possible reference sources
- From an SOP - Select a published SOP. Draft SOPs cannot be selected (because the published version is the correct one)
- From file - In the same screen as "Create from file", select an Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or PDF that has already been processed by AI. If you have a work standard document that you haven't yet created as an SOP in Dive, you can use that file directly as the reference
Start directly from an SOP
From the [...] menu on an SOP card, you can proceed directly to a comparison based on that SOP. You can start without opening the editor.
View results
When analysis is complete, you'll receive an email notification. Click a row in the list to open the results screen.
Status for each step
Each step in the SOP will show one of the following:
- Performed - The step was confirmed in the video
- Skipped - The step was not confirmed in the video
- Out of order - The step was performed in a different order than the SOP
- Unverified - It could not be determined due to the video not showing this step or other reasons. This does not necessarily mean the step was not performed
If standard time is set for the steps, the actual time, standard time, and difference are also displayed. If not all steps have standard time set, the time comparison will not be shown.
Findings
For each step where execution is confirmed, findings are provided by comparing the work content, quality warnings, important safety information, and questions against the video. As mentioned earlier, these are reference findings only and do not make a pass/fail determination.
Risky moments
Separately from the SOP, risky moments in the video (such as potential injuries or defects) are identified with timestamps. This is done even if the SOP does not contain specific instructions for these moments.
For the target person
The comparison results can also be viewed on the target person's personal page. Their screen displays skipped steps, out-of-order execution, and advice.
Version display
- Comparisons are made against the version of the SOP that was current when executed. The details heading displays the version that was actually compared
- If comparing against a version earlier than the latest published version, "Old version" is displayed
- If the reference SOP or file is deleted, "Deleted" is displayed. Previous results can still be viewed, but new comparisons cannot be added and re-analysis is not available
Redo or delete
From the [...] menu on the results screen, you can perform the following:
- Retry the comparison only - Keep the video analysis as-is and redo only the comparison with the SOP
- Start over from the beginning - Redo the video analysis. All previous results will be deleted
- Re-analyze failed segments only - If only certain segments failed, redo only those segments
You can only edit or delete comparisons that you added yourself. You can select rows in the list and delete them together.
Sharing scope
You can set the sharing scope for each comparison. Results are not displayed in the list for those without access.
