By updating the mobile app, you can now use the following three features. App size has also been reduced, so downloads are faster.
The app is available for Download from App Store and Google Play Store.
① Enhanced Offline Play in Mobile App
Advantages of mobile app use
- Unlike a web browser, the app uses in-app Storage, so downloaded data can accumulate reliably (automatic deletion is less likely)
- In a web browser, videos are not downloaded unless you use Preload, but in the mobile app, videos are automatically downloaded during normal viewing. This gives you peace of mind if you suddenly go offline. Also, playback from the second time onward is faster, so you benefit even in everyday use.

② AR Feature Renewal
We have renewed the AR feature available in the mobile app. Overall, it is now easier to use AR in a pinpointed manner, and AR Enabled is more user-friendly. By introducing a system where you can set AR for each step, the combination of AR SOPs and video SOPs, which tended to be separate, is now easier.
Since AR Settings is now easier to configure per step, the creation workflow where you first build the foundation of the SOP on a PC and then create the necessary AR content for the necessary steps is now easier.

● SOP Viewing
AR Mode Changed To Portrait UI
We redesigned the UI. Previously it was landscape, but now in portrait mode you can easily use AR while holding your phone with one hand.
Users can confirm AR as needed
When a step has AR Settings, a "View in AR" button is displayed. Tapping it enters AR mode.
*Currently, video steps are not supported. Support is Scheduled in the future. If you want to do this for video steps, create a separate blank step and set the AR Definition there.
Plane detection display support
For AR without Scan data, we made it so plane detection is used. You can tap where you want and display AR Objects. Even in steps with Scan data, you can Skip Alignment and switch to plane detection mode, so you can rest assured even if Alignment fails.
● Edit
Snap AR Objects To The Real World During AR Edit Placement
When placing AR Objects, you can now place them by recognizing planes and shapes in the real world. With drag operations on the screen, automatic recognition allows 3D object placement. This alleviates previous issues such as "objects not being placed where intended" and "taking time with depth adjustment."
For movement, there are "Snap", "Lock axis", and "Follow" options, which you can use according to your preference. "Follow" is closest to the previous operation feel.
Scan data as Materials
Since Scan data was linked to SOPs, it was difficult to reuse in other steps. By making it Materials, reuse is now easier.
Use multiple Scan data in one SOP
Previously, one SOP = one Scan data, but now it can be configured per step. This makes pinpointed use easier. Operations such as using one location's Scan data in Step 1 and different Scan data in Step 2 are now possible.
AR Edit Rotate and Size Change Operation UI
We changed the Rotate and Size Change operations for AR Objects to be performed using the UI on the operation screen.
● Impact on Previously Created AR SOPs
- You can continue to use the same data. Please note that with this renewal, video objects and URL objects have been discontinued.
- When revising, the Current Scan data definition is assigned to each step.
- When opening an AR SOP in DiveGlass, in the currently released version, the AR information of the step with the lowest number is Adopt. DiveGlass will also be updated in the future, so please wait for the release.
③ Remote Support Renewal
We redesigned the Call screen UI. The map for checking waiting Status is now fixed at the bottom left, making monitoring easier. Also, since Snap is Adopt for AR Objects placement, it is now easier to place them where you want.
