"Work Analysis" is a feature that shows recorded work videos to AI to identify areas for improvement, verify that work follows the procedure, and measure time by element. It comes in three types depending on your purpose. Work Analysis is available in Pro plan and above.
Three Types
When you open "Work Analysis" from the side menu, three options appear. The resources needed to get started decrease from top to bottom.
- Quick Analysis … You can start with just one video. No SOP or Standard time setup needed. AI identifies improvement hints and risky moments.
- Compare with SOP … You need an SOP (or an AI-processed file). Compare the worker's video against the procedure to verify work is done correctly.
- Time Analysis … Measure time by element, assemble one reference cycle, and create standard work. The traditional "Work Analysis" feature has moved here.
Which Type to Use
- I want AI to review my video first; I don't have an SOP yet … Quick Analysis
- I have an SOP but don't know if it's being followed … Compare with SOP
- I want to measure work time and improve; I want to create standard work … Time Analysis
Quick Analysis
Select just one video, and AI identifies two things:
- Risky moments … Scenes where people may get injured or quality may suffer, ranked by severity.
- Improvement hints … Insights about work assembly, such as waste, unnecessary reaches, or searching for items.
Open "Quick Analysis" from the side menu, then click "Start Quick Analysis" at the top right. Select a video, add a brief description of the work (optional), choose a sharing scope, and click "Analyze". You'll receive an email when analysis completes.
Improvement hints appear only in media that has already been processed by video AI analysis (AI processing for creating SOPs). For videos not yet processed by AI, only risky moment detection runs.
Compare with SOP
Compare a worker's video against an SOP to identify missing steps, sequence differences, and risky moments.
Open "Compare with SOP" from the side menu, then click "Add comparison" at the top right. Choose your baseline: "From an SOP" or "From file". With "From file," you can use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or PDF that has already been processed by AI.
Set a target subject (performer) for the comparison. Results are also visible from the subject's personal page. You can also start a comparison from the SOP card's menu. Draft SOPs cannot be used as a baseline.
Time Analysis
Measure time by element, refine a model video that eliminates waste, and compare it with work by target individuals (junior staff, new hires, etc.). The refined video goes into the asset library and can be used directly to create SOPs.
How to Start (Two Entry Points)
A. Start from the side menu
- Open "Work Analysis" > "Time Analysis" from the left side menu
- Click "Create new" at the top right and enter a project name
- When the editor opens, select a video in STEP1
B. Start from a video in the asset library (Recommended)
You can start directly from a video that's already been uploaded and processed by AI. Open the target video card in the asset library, select "Run work analysis with this media," and choose whether to start with Quick Analysis or Time Analysis.
Six Steps Forward
The editor follows a Selection → Extraction → Classification → Improvement → Verification → Comparison structure with six steps. Use the numbered rail (1–6) on the left to navigate freely.
- STEP1 Selection: Select the source video to analyze.
- STEP2 Extraction: AI extracts element work. Before analysis, you can specify the range to analyze. For repetitive work, assemble one reference cycle from multiple cycles.
- STEP3 Classification: Classify element work into three categories: net work / incidental work / waste (= baseline before improvement).
- STEP4 Improvement: Assemble "work video with waste removed" by cutting, reordering, and adjusting speed.
- STEP5 Verification: Preview before and after side by side, and if all looks good, export the video.
- STEP6 Comparison: Taking the finalized standard as baseline, AI analyzes and aligns the target subject's repeated work, visualizing proficiency through cycle time comparison, delay per element, and AI coaching.
The "AI Improvement Suggestion" that was previously in STEP1 has been moved to Quick Analysis. It no longer appears in Time Analysis. Past suggestions remain in the Improvement Suggestion sheet in the Excel export.
About Exported Videos
- Export takes several minutes to tens of minutes. You'll receive an email when export is complete.
- Exported videos are added to the asset library. They're tagged "After" and can be used like regular videos to create SOPs.
- The source video's AI analysis options (such as phrasing settings) are inherited, and AI analysis auto-runs on the exported video.
- When you create an SOP from this exported video, standard time initial values are automatically filled for each step.
Projects and Lists
The work unit in Time Analysis is called a "Project". One project = analysis and editing data for one source video.
- Organize with folders. Drag and drop projects into folders to move them.
- Each project is linked to a history of exported videos and a history of comparisons (comparison with target subjects).
- Quick Analysis and SOP comparisons each appear in their own list. You can sort, filter, and delete selected items.
Share Results
For both Quick Analysis and Time Analysis, you can set a sharing scope and share with group members or the entire team. In the list, select the row's menu, choose "Sharing scope," and change to "Only me," "Same group," or "Entire team". Only the creator can edit. Shared members can view, export to Excel, and view the after-improvement video. For details, see Share Work Analysis Results with Your Team/Group (Sharing Scope Settings).
