This release is focused on one goal: no waiting. We made material uploads (video, images, PDF, and more) run in the background so you can keep working while files upload. We've also sped up the material list loading. Teams with large material libraries will notice the biggest difference.
1. Material uploads now run in the background
Before, you had to stay on the upload screen while files were uploading. Now you can move freely to other screens right after starting an upload. The upload progress stays visible in the Upload tray at the bottom right of your screen.
- Keep working while uploading: You can edit SOPs and check viewing records while your files upload in the background.
- Upload many files at once: Pick hundreds of files at once if you want. The system uploads 3 files at the same time, then processes the rest as "Waiting". Your connection stays stable even with large video uploads.
- Cancel or retry one at a time: Each row in the tray lets you cancel running or waiting uploads, or retry failed ones. Canceled and failed uploads do not count against your upload quota or AI processing quota—your quotas go back up automatically.
- Completed materials appear in the list automatically: When an upload finishes, the material shows up in your material list right away.

Caution: If you close the browser tab or reload the page while uploading, the upload stops. Moving to other screens within the app is fine.
2. Material list now loads faster
Before, the material list loaded all your files every time you opened it. The more materials you had, the slower it got. Now we load 20 materials at a time in order of newest upload first, and fetch more as you scroll.
- Open instantly: Even if your team has hundreds or thousands of materials, the material page and SOP creation material picker open right away.
- Reuse loaded lists: Once we load a list, it gets shared within the app. So you can switch between materials page, SOP creation, and AR material selection without reloading.
- New uploads from other devices appear automatically: If a team member uploads materials from a phone or other device, new materials quietly appear when you come back to the screen. There's also a manual refresh button.
3. Other improvements
- Free plan now supports up to 3 users: The free plan used to allow only 1 user. Now it supports up to 3 users. SOPs work best when creators and viewers work together. With 3 free users, small teams can now test Dive for free.
- Invite members during team creation: When you create a new team, you can invite team members (up to 2) right in the signup flow. No need to find the settings page later.
- Improved the SOP creation method selection screen: We fixed the problem where choice options were too large and hard to select. The list is cleaner now.
- Faster SOP creation from files: When you import Excel, Word, or PowerPoint files, we removed unused internal processing steps. File conversion is now quicker.
