"Work Analysis" is a function where you show work videos recorded on the factory floor to AI to check for improvements, whether tasks are being done according to procedures, and the time spent on each element. It is divided into three types depending on your purpose. Work Analysis is available on the Pro plan and above.
The 3 Differences
When you open "Work Analysis" from the side menu, the following 3 options appear side by side. The requirements to get started decrease from top to bottom.
- Quick Analysis … You can start with just 1 video. You do not need an SOP or a ready-made standard time. AI identifies improvement hints and risky moments
- Compare with SOP … You need an SOP (or an AI-processed file). Check whether the worker's video matches the procedure by comparing them side by side
- Time Analysis … Measure the time spent on each element, build a reference cycle to use as a standard, and create a standard work procedure. The traditional "Work Analysis" has been carried over to this option
Which One to Use
- I want AI to analyze the video first, and I don't have an SOP yet … Quick Analysis
- I have an SOP but I'm not sure if it's being followed correctly … Compare with SOP
- I want to measure work time and improve, or I want to create a standard work procedure … Time Analysis
Quick Analysis
Select just 1 video, and AI identifies the following 2 items.
- Risky moments … Moments where people risk injury and moments that risk quality defects are listed with severity levels
- Improvement hints … Insights about how work is structured, such as waste, double-handling, and searching, are listed
Open "Quick Analysis" from the side menu, then start from "Start Quick Analysis" in the top right. Select a video, enter a brief description of the task (optional), choose a sharing scope, then click "Analyze". We'll notify you by email when analysis is complete.
Improvement hints only appear for media that has already gone through video AI analysis (AI processing for creating SOPs). For videos not yet AI-analyzed, only risky moment detection is performed.
Compare with SOP
Compare the worker's video against an SOP to check for missing steps, different sequence order, and risky moments.
Open "Compare with SOP" from the side menu, then start from "Add comparison" in the top right. Choose your reference from either "From an SOP" or "From file". "From file" lets you use AI-processed Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or PDF files as a reference.
Set a target person (executor) for the comparison. Results can also be viewed from the target person's personal page. You can also start a comparison based on that SOP from the "…" menu on the SOP card. Draft SOPs cannot be used as a reference.
Time Analysis
Measure the time spent on each element, arrange a reference video by removing waste, and even compare it with the target person's (junior staff, new hires, etc.) work. The arranged video goes into "File" and can be used directly for creating SOPs.
How to Start (2 entry points)
A. Start from the side menu
- Open "Work Analysis" → "Time Analysis" from the left side menu
- Click "Create new" in the top right and enter a project name
- When the editor opens, select a video in STEP1
B. Start from a video in "File" (recommended)
You can start directly from a video that has already been uploaded and AI-analyzed. Open the target video card in "File", select "Run work analysis with this media", and then choose whether to start with Quick Analysis or Time Analysis.
Progress Through 6 Steps
The editor has a 6-step structure: Selection → Extraction → Classification → Improvement → Confirmation → Comparison. Use the number rail (1-6) on the left edge to move between steps at any time.
- STEP1 Selection: Select the source video to analyze
- STEP2 Extraction: AI extracts element tasks. Before analysis, you can specify the "Range to analyze". For repetitive work, build "a reference 1-cycle" from multiple cycles
- STEP3 Classification: Classify element tasks into 3 categories: "Net work" / "Incidental work" / Waste (= pre-improvement standard)
- STEP4 Improvement: Build a "work video with waste removed" by cutting, rearranging, and adjusting speed
- STEP5 Confirmation: Preview the before/after side by side, and if all looks good, export the video
- STEP6 Comparison: Set the finalized standard as the benchmark, AI analyzes and aligns the target person's repeat work videos, and visualize proficiency through cycle time comparison, delay per element, and AI coaching
The "AI Improvement Suggestion" that was previously in STEP1 has been moved to Quick Analysis. It is no longer displayed within Time Analysis. Any suggestions you created before will remain on the Improvement Suggestion sheet in the Excel export as before.
About Exported Videos
- Export takes several minutes to several tens of minutes. We'll notify you by email when it's complete
- Exported videos go into "File". They are tagged "After" and can be used for creating SOPs just like regular videos
- The AI analysis options (phrasing settings, etc.) of the source video are inherited, and AI analysis automatically runs on the exported video
- When you create an SOP from this exported video, the initial standard time value is automatically filled in for each step
Projects and List
The work unit for Time Analysis is called a "Project". One project = analysis and editing data for one source video.
- You can organize projects in folders. Projects can be moved to folders by drag and drop
- Each project has a history of exported videos and a history of comparisons (Comparison with target) linked to it
- Quick Analysis and Compare with SOP appear in their respective lists. You can use sort, filter, and delete selected operations
Share Results
For both Quick Analysis and Time Analysis, you can set a sharing scope and share with team members in the group or across the entire team. Select the "…" menu for the target row in the list, choose "Sharing scope", and change it to "Only me" / "Same group" / "Entire team". Only the creator can edit; members in the shared scope can view, export to Excel, and view the after-improvement video.
